Chapter 41-When's Lexi's birthday

I walked in seeing 4 angry brothers.

Shit.

"Umm heyyy" I said with a nervous fake laugh

"Lexi lets go" Aidan said with a cold face

"Bu-

"Don't question just grab your stuff and let's go" Aidan said again

I grabbed my stuff from Jennas room and made my way downstairs.

"Thanks James for last night and tell Jenna too" I said while walking out

I got in the car and it was dead silent. No one was yelling at me yet, this is weird. We reached home, and Aidan got a phone call.

"Lexi go to your room, we will discuss what happened" he said

I went to my room, and sat there

Jadens p.o.v (from last night)

"Can you ask your friends for a ride back" I asked Lexi

"Ok" she said

The team went out for late dinner then back to one of the houses. We would relax, drink, play video games and have fun. After stopping by shake shack we went to Danny's house one of our teammates, and hung out. Ryan and I were not sober so we decided to crash at his place. I knew Lexi got home safe, so I didn't bother asking. We all fell asleep and woke up with massive headaches. I checked my text and Aidan and Andrew texted me asking where Lexi is. She was home, or so I thought. I woke up Ryan and showed him the text. He was angry that Lexi didn't go home but worried where she went. We checked her location and saw she was at jennas house. She was suppose to go home right away. Ryan and I drove to her house with Aidan and Andrew.

"Don't you think we aren't gonna talk to you two" Aidan said pointing to Ryan and I.

We rang the doorbell and James opened it

"Where's Lexi" Aidan asked

"Why" he said

"Just answer the question" Andrew said

"In the kitchen" he said

"Lexi it's for you" James yelled

Lexi came towards the door and saw all of us

"Umm heyyyy" she said with a nervous tone. She doesn't know how much trouble she is in.

"Lexi lets go" Aidan said with a cold tone. He can hide his emotions very well

"Bu-" she tried saying but got cut off

"Lexi don't question it, go and grab your stuff now" he said

She sighed and went to go get her stuff.

She said something to James then walked towards the door and left.

We went into the car and it was dead silent. We all wanted to yell at her but we decided to talk to her together at the house. We pulled into the driveway but Aidan got a call

"Lexi go to your room, we will discuss what happened after" Aidan said

Lexi left and went to her room. She didn't even try fighting back. I sat on the couch, and opened Snapchat. I saw jacks story and it was Lexi blowing out 17 candles. No her birthday isn't till April. I check other peoples story and there was people saying happy birthday to her, and posting a video of her blowing out her candles. SHITTT we forgot her birthday

"Umm guys" I said loudly

"What now Jaden" Ryan said

"Look at this" I said pointing to the phone

Andrew and Ryan grabbed my phone and watched the video. Both of them had shocked and worried faces. We all knew we fucked up.

"No her birthday is in May" Ryan said

"No it's in February" Andrew said

"Where's her file" Ryan asked

"In Aidan's office" Andrew said

We all started running towards his office. We barged in we didn't care if we were disturbing Aidan's call. We searched through his drawers and found her file.

"Hey Marcus let me call you back" Aidan said

"What the hell are you guys doing" Aidan shouted

"When Lexi's birthday?" I asked

"Somewhere in June" Aidan said

None of us knew her birthday.

We found her file and it said September 9 1998.

"You guys her birthday was yesterday" I said

Everyone faces dropped. None of us even noticed the happy birthdays, the gifts nothing. She went out after to enjoy her birthday with friends because we didn't. We weren't there for her.

"What do we do?" I asked

Lexi's p.o.v

I walked into my room and cried. They were gonna lecture me about how I was not suppose to do that and take my phone away and ground me even more. They didn't even know why I did that. I cried and cried and fell asleep. I woke up couple horse later with tears stained face. My stomach was growling and I only had a piece of toast today. I went downstairs to grab some dinner and go back

"Lexi, we need to talk" Aidan said.

I wasn't gonna have him walk all over me

"Before you yell at me, listen to what I say. You wanna know what I did yesterday and why I didn't come home. Last night at midnight I came down to this exact kitchen, it was dark besides one light on. I grabbed a cupcake and a candle, and wished myself happy birthday. That book I accidentally threw in the window wasn't an accident. I couldn't fucking breathe in my room. I needed air and you didn't let me have it." I said pointing at Aidan. "I woke up thinking maybe they were just tired and they will tell me in the morning but no, instead Andrew tells me that you and him will be at the game and you expect me to stay with you guys for a bit. Jaden and Ryan were only talking about there football game and completely forgot about my birthday. At school my friends wished my a happy birthday and got me stuff. They actually remember, unlike you four. When I went to the game and Jaden said to get a ride from my friends, that hurt. I thought maybe we would get a birthday dinner but no him and Ryan decided to go hang out with their teammates instead. So instead of staying home and hating my birthday I decided to have my own fun. I went to jacks house and had an amazing day. My friends cared for me more than you ever had. And not only did my friends tell me happy birthday but extended family and even Jenna and James parents. They are my family unlike you" I said with tears streaming down my face.

"Lexi we-"

"No just leave me alone" I said running to my room. I locked myself in the bathroom turned on the shower and screamed. I let the water running to drown out my sobbing and screaming. All I wanted to do was see my parents again. I was angry, for how they treated me. How can they forget their own sisters birthday. I threw the bowl I brought and glass shattering everywhere. I cried even more

"Lexi please open" Andrew sound knocking on my door.

I didn't open the door

"Lexi open the door" Jaden said

I didn't open the door, I wasn't going to.

I heard one of the boys calling someone but I didn't care. It was probably Aidan working, he didn't care about me.

15 minutes later I heard a knock again

"I'm not opening" i said

"Lexi please open up" she said
