"So" I asked
"He said we can go forward with the emancipation. I'm gonna get the papers that I need you, and Aidan to sign. If he doesn't sign we can go to court which most likely won't be necessary. The judge likes me so it will be easy to overrule his decision" he said
"Thank you so much Joshua" I said
"You're welcome Lexi, I owe your parents" he said
He went to go grab the papers and brought them back in a envelope.
"Fill our everything, get his signature, and drop of the papers when they are done. After that you will sign couple more documents for legal purposes and the very last document is you agreeing on this and you can't go back after that" he said
"Ok, I'll get them back right away" I said
"Ok, I'll see you soon Lexi" he said
"See you soon Joshua" I replied
I went out the reception and she was going to send my bill but I payed up front.
I texted Jenna to pick me up.
I went downstairs and saw her car
"Thanks again" I said
"Anytime" she replied
"Well?" She asked
"I got the papers" I said happily
I was going to be free, no longer under anyone
"I'm so happy for you" she replied

We drove back and she dropped me off
"I'll text you how it goes with Aidan" I said
"Ok, if he does anything I'll be there in a heartbeat" she said
"Aw thanks, I'll talk to you later bye" I said while waving.
I put the envelope in my backpack and opened the house.
I saw bags packed. Shit I forgot today the day my cousins leave.
"Ok, we have everything" James said
"Leaving so soon" I said
"Yeah, we have school and a very long flight back" he said
"Well I will miss you a lot and I'll see you soon" I said
"You better visit us" lucia said
"I will" I replied
"Goodbye my bambino, I will see you soon" grandma said

We all had a big group hug and then they left. It felt weird seeing them leave.
But soon that would be me.
I go upstairs and start filling things out. I needed my birth certificate
I go downstairs
"Where's my birth certificate?" I asked dad
"Should be in Aidan's office" he replied
"Can you to get it, I want to see it" I replied
"Just go in and grab it" he said
"Daad pleaseee" i whined
"Ok fine" he said
He went to Aidan's office and grabbed it
