Chapter 42- She needs a mother figure

"Lexi can I come in?" She asked

Mrs. Davis

I got up and opened the door to let her in. I hugged her and cried.

"It's ok, sweetie. It's ok" she said hugging me

"I want her here, I want to see her again" I said while crying

"I know me too" she said

"They didn't even care about me, they forgot my birthday. I was alone on my birthday, I just want to see her again and be gone already." I said through sobs

"They do care about you, it's a new adjustment." She said

"I know all of there birthdays, Aidan May 23, Andrew November 17, Ryan, and Jaden January 21" I said

She didn't know what to say.

"Lexi, a birthday doesn't define how much they care and love you, they might have forgotten but that doesn't mean anything." She said

"I'm alone" I said

"No you're not, you got your brothers, us, your friends" she said

"My brothers aren't my family" I said

"Lexi, they love you either if they don't show it often. I promise you they love you.

"Doesn't feel like it, I get more love from you and my friends. Could I move with you instead" I asked still crying

"You know I would love for you to move in with us, but your brothers need you" she said

"Do we you wanna see Jenna?" She asked

I nodded my head.

Mrs Davis left and Jenna came in.

I sobbed in her arms.

"Your brother are assholes" Jenna said

I laughed with her. She makes my day better

Mrs Davis p.o.v.

She was hurting, you can hear it in her voice and see it. I left the bathroom and Jenna went in.

"Soo how is she" Andrew asked

"She's hurting, a lot, she is showing symptoms of depression. She is really stressed out. Honestly I think she should stay with us for a few days. She needs a mother figure again and the closest thing she is going to get is me." I said

"No you can't take her-" Ryan said

"No, I think it's good for her" Aidan said

I knocked on the bathroom door.

"Lexi can I come in" I asked

She opened up the door and let me in

"Soo how about you stay with us for a couple of day's, how does that sound?" I asked her

She nodded her head yes. This would be better for her

Lexi's p.o.v

I agreed to go with mrs Davis and Jenna. They were better than being home. I got out of the bathroom and all of my brothers were there, waiting for me, acting like they care.

I grabbed a bag and put some clothes in it. All of my brothers watching me. I grabbed my bag and made my way downstairs

"Lexi please stay" Jaden said

I didn't respond.

I opened the door

"Lex-

I shut the door. I walked to the car and went in.
