Chapter 35 Surprise!

Kendra's P.O.V.

"Jady" i whispered walking into her room "Jay" i shook her "hmm?" she groaned "C'mon...Me and your dad have a surprise for you" i whispered "what?" she mumbled rolling over and squinting her eyes open "yah! C'mon...het dressed and meet me down stairs" i whispered "ok...I'll be down in a bit" she groaned rolling back over "k" i whispered walking out and closing the door behind me.

"What's going on?" Jay asked rubbing her eyes and she walked down the stairs into the living room "i told you! we have a surprise for you!" i explained again "yah i got that but i thought you said you and dad have a surprise for me"

"I did" i smiled. Jay's eyes widened

. i laughed and stood up from the breakfast bar separating the kitchen and living room. "C'mon...we'll grab something at McDonalds" i smiled grabbing my jacket from the closest by the door that lead to the screening room. "ok..." Jay said confused.

"Why are we at the airport?" Jay asked when i parked the car "it's all part of the surprise" i said looking out at the huge building. "c'mon...Harry's waitin' inside" i said opening the door.

"Dad! can you please tell me where we're going?" Jady complained "nope" Harry said as we walked down the wide hall. Jay huffed "please" she begged "no!" i laughed but my smile quickly faded.

"Attention passengers. please be seated. we will be landing in Saskatoon, Canada shortly" said a lady over the intercom. "Saskatoon?! we're in Canada?!" Jady smiled. both Harry and i forced smiles

"We're home" Jady smiled looking out the window at the city below us.

"Grandma's! you brought me to see grandma and grandpa!" Jady cheered "well..thats part of the surprise" i explained.

Jady jumped out the car and ran to the door.

I sighed "i don't wanna do it Harry...i don't wanna do it"

"Jay...it's time to go" i said walking into the living room "i dont wanna go back to London! i wanna stay here!" she complained "no we're not going back to England yet...we just have to go" Harry explained "where?" she asked "you'll see" i said looking down at the floor.

"Mom...what are we doing here?" Jady asked "just get out of the car...your father and I need to tell you something"

We stopped walking

"Mom i still don't understand" she said looking down at it.

i couldn't look up. Then i felt a hand on my shoulder. i knew it was harry

"just read read it" i whispered. As a tear rolled down my cheek

"Kenna Styles. June third... two-two thousand fifteen..." she slowed down and then paused and then continued what the headstone read "may our little girl...forever rest in peace... and let us meet her in heaven...." Now she started crying

"I....I-I...I" she turned around and buried her face i my shirt. i just let it all out. i dropped to my knees and wrapped my arms around Jady and cried. i cried like i never cried before.

Thoughts of what our little Kenna would be like rushed through my head.

i thought about whether she would have Harry's green eye or my shit brown eyes. she would defiantly have brown curly hair and a good singing voice. i wondered if she would be shy or outgoing. i wondered if she would like London.

wondered if she lived through that first night if nothing would have changed. if me and Harry would still be together and Jady wouldn't hate England so much. then i wouldn't have been with Adam and Henry wouldn't have left me and Emma and she wouldn't have got the chair or Ronny wouldn't have been born! Harry wouldn't have met Amber and i wouldn't have seen Jason's dead body!

All the memories of the past rushed through me and stung. it hurt! all of it.

Then i was flashed to the present and found myself hugging Jady, crying. i forgot i was crying. i forgot i was at the cemetery where my baby was buried in. i haven't seen her grave for twelve years because i knew i would break down. and it's finally happening. i'm breaking down. and it all hurts so much!
