*FIFTY-THREE*

Forth's POV

We all arrived at the hospital and Beam had already been taken to surgery. We were also met my police. My father called his bodyguards and his friends in the police force in hopes of finding out what happened.

"Son can you tell us what happened?" My father asked

"We went to his condo to clean up. I loaded the car with boxes and left to drop them off. When i came back I found him on the floor. He was covered with glass and bleeding" i said while crying

"Is there anything else you remember?" the officer said

I rattled my brain so desperately trying to remember and then it hit me.

"His mom" I whispered

"What?" Kit asked

"When I came back I saw Beam's mom run out the building. I didn't expect to see her since she and her husband assaulted Beam at Yo and Phana's party." I said

"I'll call to get footage to confirm she was there. This is concerning especially since she has a history of attacking the victim" one of the police officers said

Footage. That word ran through my mind. "Wait"

They all looked confused.

"Since he got pregnant we've been making videos. When we were clearing out the condo we were recording on a camera. I put it on a bookshelf in the living room. We were going to do a time lapse so we started recording. I found Beam in the living room"

"With your permission we would like to enter the scene and collect the caera along with evidence"

"Yes whatever you have to do" i said

An hour has passed and we still didn't hear a word from Dr. Earth. I looked around and all my friends and family were here.

"Ow" i heard Yo say.

"Love are you okay?" Phana asked

"Yeah. your daughter must be upset. She's been like this all day"

"What do you mean?" my mother asked

"It's been on and off all day. Maybe every 20 minutes or so but now this was worse and Ow" he stopped talking to catch his breath

"Oh my god are you in labor?" Phana asked

"No I'm.....Oww. okay that really hurt" Yo said with tears in his eyes

"Yo you should get looked at. I know you want to be here wit support me but i couldn't live with myself if something happened to you or my niece"

"Are you sure?" Yo asked

"Yes. now please get admitted"

"I'll go with him too," my mother said.

She, Phana and Yo walked to the service desk and Yo was admitted into the hospital. How long has he felt like this. He was pushing past his pain to comfort me in my time of need. He was so selfless.

My phone dinged and I saw a text from Yo

I just finished getting checked.
The doctor said I'm having braxton hicks contractions.
She told me to go home and rest.

I text back letting him know it was okay and that he should rest at home. All this stress isn't good for him or my niece.

I broke the silence that filled the air. "Yo is okay. He's having Braxton Hicks so mom and Phana are taking him home" 

"As long as they're safe that's all that mattered." My father said 

Another hour passed by and Dr. Earth finally entered the waiting room.
