BONNIE MADE IT back to the Hospital Wing before any of her friends woke up, but she was beginning to see the sunrise. Groaning at that, she laid herself down in the bed, moving Lily's head so it would be more comfortable. Bonnie was able to fall back asleep, waking up when the sun was high in the sky and Marlene was glancing at the girl wearily.

"How are you feeling, Bon?" Marlene asked, brushing a few strands of hair from Bonnie's face. "You had us all really worried."

Bonnie sniggered a bit making Marlene send her a curious look. "The funny thing, Marls? I have no idea what happened to get me in here." Bonnie wanted to cry. She had dreamed of having at least one more conversation with her best friends. She was able to relive their friendship and focus on the important moments. She wanted to relish in every moment, to be frank. She thought they were all important now.

Marlene shot her another concerned look before sighing and continuing to play with Bonnie's brunette curls. "We were in the Common Room when you started to scream. Lily said your eyes rolled to the back of your head as you called out for us. You even er... called out for the Marauders, Alice, Frank, the Prewetts, and some guy named Fred. It was quite scary. Fabian carried you here once the screams had stopped. He and Gideon were freaking out. The only Marauder around was Remus, and he was flipping out, too. When you got here, the screams started all over again. Are you sure you're feeling fine, Bon?"

Bonnie could only nod as she tightened her fists around the sleeves to the leather jacket still around her body. Marlene smirked slightly. "You weren't wearing that jacket last night. Is that Sirius Black's?"

Bonnie sighed. "I went to visit Dumbledore and ran into James and Sirius. James made Sirius give it to me because my skin was freezing. I'm ready to leave. What time is it?" she asked while ignoring Marlene's suggestive eyebrows at Sirius's name. Marlene answered a little before noon. "When can I leave?"

"I'll call Pomfrey. Stay here, no wandering Mrs. Black!" she teased.

"I'll throttle you."

"No, you won't."

Marlene laughed as she left to go to Madam Pomfrey's office. The woman came out in a rush, beginning to check her vitals and stating everything seemed normal. "I don't want you going to classes today. It's Monday, so you'll have the night to rest. Nothing strenuous!"

"Yeah, don't go dry-humping Sirius," Marlene muttered, earning her a swift kick in the leg.

Madam Pomfrey either didn't hear or ignored Marlene's words as she picked everything up. After motioning that they could leave, Marlene helped Bonnie stand. She was a bit shaky. "How about lunch?"

"Sounds great."

Marlene locked her arm with Bonnie's making Bonnie smile brightly at the girl. Marlene gave her another look and asked if she was sure she was fine. Of course, she was fine. She had her best friends back. What else could she want?

When Bonnie and Marlene made it to the Great Hall, Bonnie almost tripped over her feet at how beautiful it looked. Last time she was here, it was broken and full of dead bodies. She saw where she held George as he cried, where she saw the dead body of Remus, and where she spoke with Harry before being sucked back in time. Shuddering slightly, Bonnie allowed Marlene to keep them on a steady pace to the Gryffindor table.

Bonnie saw people whispering and glancing at her. She was not really sure if it was because she was wearing Sirius's jacket or someone had let slip of what happened the night prior. Bonnie missed being thirty-seven and not caring what anyone thought of her. Pulling Sirius's sleeves down over her hands again, she sat down at the table. Soon, Lily and Mary made themselves known. Lily threw herself at the girl, hugging her tightly.
