BONNIE CLUTCHED REGULUS and Peter's hands as Regulus held Kreacher's. The Apparition was quick, painless compared to normal. Bonnie figured it was because of Kreacher operating the process. Elves always had a peculiar magic against or compared to witches and wizards.

When the four magical beings landed on the sand, Bonnie lost her balance and fell into Peter. Peter snorted a laugh. "Careful, Bon."

Regulus's face became stony as he stared at the large cliff that opened into a cave near the bottom. "I've had dreams about this place" he mumbled to himself. "Well, we shouldn't waste time. Get your wands out. Kreacher, er—lead the way."

"Of course, Master Regulus," Kreacher croaked, beginning to walk.

Peter's hand shook a bit, wand wavering in the process. Regulus refused to let Bonnie in the lead, knowing the witch was too prone to jumping headfirst into danger.

"We can't Apparate on this island, can we, Kreacher?" Bonnie asked.

Kreacher shook his head. "Only elves like Kreacher can Apparate. The Dark Lord put many enchantments over this cave. Kreacher knows the danger."

Bonnie nodded. "We won't make you come with us inside. We just need you to get us out of here once we retrieve the locket."

"Thank you, Miss Bonnie. Kreacher is relieved."

Bonnie smiled tightly, casting the light charm on her wand when they inched closer to the opening. It was growing far too dark, and Bonnie did not like it one bit.

The sand became stiffer as it turned to stone and rocks, and the wind picked up. It was as if the world was screaming at the group to turn back.

It was eerie.

Peter moved closer to Bonnie. "Regulus is going to use his blood to get us in, right?"

"Right. We'll be able to get in and out quickly. Hopefully, the Dark Lord will never know," Regulus answered, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a locket that looked just the same as the Slytherin Locket they had researched. "A fake. When he'll come and check on his Horcrux, he'll see this and think we never got to it."

"Brilliant," Bonnie said with a grin.

"It tends to happen every once and a while," Regulus replied with a smirk that rivaled his brother.

When they finally had no light from outside, they all had their wands lit. They grouped together to make sure nothing happened to each other.

"We'll have to jump down and swim a bit, yes?" Peter asked Kreacher.

"The entrance is down there, Master Regulus," Kreacher's voice came out soft and gravely. "Kreacher can use his blood if—"

"No, you need to stay safe to get us out of here. I'll do it," Regulus said determinedly. The four jumped into the water, almost as if it was a slide. They had to swim more than they thought until they finally managed to make it toward a patch of rock. Peter helped Bonnie up as Regulus helped Kreacher off his back.

Regulus turned his wand's light out, taking a deep breath before using his wand as a knife—with one swift flick, he hissed in pain as blood gushed from the light cut.

Bonnie watched apprehensively as he took his blood and smeared it on the rocks. Peter winced as Regulus whimpered slightly as the jagged rocks pierced his skin more.

Peter took out a handkerchief from his pocket, grabbing Regulus's hand to wrap it. "Thanks Pete," Regulus whispered as the rocks shifted. It was almost like the entrance to Diagon Alley. The payment was made, and now, they could enter. Bonnie cast a healing charm on his cut as Regulus used the handkerchief to wipe up the blood. "Kreacher, stay here until we call."
