Gulf smirked at Mew and Kokliang, leaving them both in a state of utter confusion. He contemplated the joy of teasing them but quickly shelved the idea when he caught their perplexed expressions.

"Nah, not now. Just don't be that jerk, Gulf. Let's have a good morning with these two dorks," he muttered to himself while rolling his eyes for effect.

"Gulf, stop standing there like a statue and get your ass inside the car, or we seriously will be late!" Kokliang snapped.

Gulf mentally wrestled with himself. 'Why am I being kind? I should be annoying them! But do I really want to deal with their grumpy faces this early? Urgh, I'm so complicated in the morning!'

Before he could settle on an answer, a pair of muscular yet slender arms wrapped around him and hoisted him off the ground. The sensation sent a jolt through his body that made him gasp—almost like a moan.

Just as he was getting lost in the moment, a pinching sting on his arm snapped him back to reality. "Damn, Kokliang! That's painful!" he yelped, rubbing his bruised flesh.

"You should have listened to us," Kokliang replied, a mischievous smile creeping onto his face.

Once they arrived at school, Kokliang shot out of the car like a firework, leaving Gulf to wonder, 'What's wrong with him?'

As Gulf shut the car door, he found himself wedged between the vehicle and Mew, who looked at him like he was some kind of scrumptious snack. Gulf's heart raced as he felt a stir in his pants, but before anything scandalous could unfold, he expertly pushed Mew aside just in time to lean in for a quick kiss.

With his heart pounding, Gulf made a swift escape into the Faculty of Medicine's building.

He ran in and spotted Kokliang, leaning against the wall for dear life. "You okay, bud?" Gulf asked.

"Those cardio sessions are so not good for me in the morning," Kokliang gasped, his voice shaky.

"For real, are you serious right now?" Gulf replied, adopting his best 'I don't believe you' tone.

"Well, well, look who we have here. Hmm..." San drawled, a wicked grin plastered across his face.

In an instant, Gulf realised San had been chasing Kokliang, apparently putting in the cardio his friend desperately needed. Gulf positioned himself protectively in front of Kokliang, ready to defend his buddy from the smirking menace.

Gulf's irritation bubbled over as he glared at San, while onlookers slowed their pace, anticipating a dramatic showdown.

"Gulf, let's go. Leave him!" Kokliang tugged at Gulf's sleeve, trying to retreat from the tension. But Gulf wasn't having it; he pulled his arm free and faced San, determined to set things straight.

"Listen here, you dick face, I'm not in the mood to play games, so why don't you shuffle along, you wall of bully?" he declared, earning a few stifled laughs from the surrounding students, which only made San growl.

San swung a punch at Gulf, but Gulf nimbly ducked and countered with a well-aimed jab to San's ribcage. As an aspiring doctor, Gulf had a keen understanding of anatomy, even when dealing with a werewolf. The punch landed perfectly, causing San to double over, clutching his sides in pain without any serious damage.

"Bye-bye, dick face," Gulf said with a theatrical bow, smirking as he walked away, Kokliang at his side, desperately trying not to laugh.

"You do realise no one dares to hurt him, right?" Kokliang chuckled, holding back his amusement.

"Well, my boy, I'm not like the rest of them. Just so you know, I'm one of a kind," Gulf replied, beaming as he moved toward their class.

"You really are something," Kokliang said, grinning.

"I'm a unique wolf boy, and not to brag, but I'm strong too," Gulf laughed, clearly enjoying himself.

"You really need to teach me how to fight," Kokliang said, struggling to keep up with Gulf's swagger.

"You should learn from your brother, not me," Gulf tossed back, giving Kokliang a sidelong glance. "Plus, the world only needs one sassy Gulf, not two sassy Gulfs, my child!" he added, chuckling at his own joke.
