The day flew by in a flurry of patients and tasks, leaving Gulf no time to check his phone. When the moment finally arrived, he quickly called Mew back, having noticed the multitude of missed calls.

"Boo, pick me up at 9 pm tonight, not now," Gulf said as Mew's voice came through the line.

"Gulf, I need you to come back home now," Mew's urgent tone pierced through the pleasant hum of his day.

"Why? What's wrong?" Gulf demanded, concern mounting as he hurried to his office.

"Baby Tin is missing. I'm coming now, bii, to pick you up," Mew insisted, his voice shaking with urgency as he started his car.

"Okay," Gulf replied, swiftly gathering his belongings and rushing towards the hospital entrance.

*RING RING* *RING RING*

"Almost at the entrance," Gulf said, picking up the phone without looking at the caller ID.

"Okay," responded an unknown voice, sending a shiver down Gulf's spine.

Something felt off; Mew never replied so shortly before hanging up. Upon arriving at the main entrance, confusion settled in as he scanned for Mew's car and instead spotted a heavily tinted minivan that abruptly stopped in front of him.

In the blink of an eye, Gulf was yanked inside the van, confusion spiralling into alarm as he was overpowered by several men who swiftly covered his nose with chloroform, darkness engulfing him.

'MEW, HELP! KIDNAPPED! Chloroform!' Gulf's frantic thoughts raced through his mind as everything faded into black.

Meanwhile, back at the packhouse, the air was thick with worry as everyone searched for Baby Tin. Mew, his heart pounding, started his car engine but before he could drive off, he heard Gulf's desperate voice through their mind link, pleading for help.

'GULF! GULF! BII! PLEASE HEAR ME!' Mew's desperate screams ripped through the silent expanse of their mind link, but the silence from Gulf was deafening, suffocating.

"Pho, we found Tin! He's with an unknown pack member," Mild's voice crackled through, panic lacing his words.

"Get her locked inside the dungeon; I'm coming now!" Mew growled, the raw power of his alpha tone bursting forth like a thunderclap, sending shivers down the spines of his pack.

As Mew stormed into the dungeon, a vortex of fury and desperation, he marched straight towards the enemy, seizing her by the throat and slamming her hard against the unforgiving stone wall. The other wolves recoiled in shock, stunned into silence by their alpha's fierce onslaught.

"Where's my mate?" Tharn's voice emerged, laced with palpable rage as he momentarily asserted his dominance.

"Haha *cough* haha, Alpha Mew, say goodbye to that," the female omega wheezed mockingly.

"You really should keep an eye on your precious," she taunted, a twisted smile curling her lips.

"WHERE IS MY MATE!" Tharn roared, and this time his alpha command rippled through the air, enforcing her obedience like an iron vice.

"Lu—luna is wi-with Al-alpha," she stammered, her neck instinctively exposed in submission.

"Which Alpha!" Tharn demanded, his eyes boring into hers, ablaze with fury.

"Alp-alpha Fiat," she gasped, the name like a venomous dagger that pierced Mew's heart. The moment it registered, Mew lost himself to a primal force, hurling the omega against the wall with such ferocity that her life extinguished in an explosive splatter of blood.

Mew's enraged growl resonated in a deep, echoing rumble that reverberated through the confines of the dungeon, commanding submission from every wolf present, including his own children, as he darted out, the taste of vengeance fresh on his tongue.

"Pho, where are you going?" Thorn shouted, racing after his father, who was now a tempest fuelled by bloodlust.

"To Alpha Fiat's mansion," Mew answered through their mind link, his form shifting seamlessly into a sleek wolf as he sprinted into the night.

As Mew approached the mansion, a foreboding presence loomed, the place like a forgotten relic steeped in decay. Thick shadows cloaked the unkempt facade, whispering of ghosts and secrets long buried. He shook off the chill, inhaling deeply; the air was saturated with the scent of dried blood, pungent and alluring as he neared the entrance. The door creaked ominously as it surrendered to his touch.

"Ah, welcome, Alpha Mew," a voice echoed eerily, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Give my mate back!" Mew barked as he crossed the threshold, the walls seeming to shudder at the intensity of his need.

"HAHAHAHA!" The laughter reverberated, dark and menacing, twisting through the air like a sinister melody.

"YOU BASTARD! YOU TRAPPED MY MATE AND MADE HIM FORGET ME! HIS TRUE MATE!" the voice boomed, dripping with malice, resonating and lingering like a spectre in the midnight gloom.

"ENOUGH!" Tharn's roar filled the space, his warning matched only by the destruction that surrounded him—spiderwebs thick with neglect, shattered glass underfoot, and dust heavy in the atmosphere.

With acute hearing, Tharn detected a muffled cry to his left, his instincts propelling him towards a door. He flung it open, revealing Gulf, bound to a chair, a strip of white cloth gagging him.

"I'm here, bii, I'm here," Mew croaked, rushing to Gulf, only to freeze—Fiat emerged like a nightmare, a glinting knife poised menacingly at Gulf's neck.

"Who says you can have him?" Fiat sneered, the blade pressing into Gulf's soft skin, a cruel promise lingering in the air.

"Ah-ah, no. Move back one step or I will stab him," Fiat hissed, pushing the dagger deliberately against Gulf, dragging terror within Mew's core.

"You know, Mew, oh yes, have a seat," Fiat gestured mockingly to a chair beside him.

"Yes, take a seat, Alpha Mew, the greatest, the strongest, the mighty Alpha. Look at you, so small, so obedient, following my orders like a good little pup," Fiat sang, his voice dripping with condescension.

As he took his seat at the head of the table, smirking down at Mew, the alpha simmered with rage, his heart racing as he locked eyes with Gulf, who offered a faint smirk from behind his gag.
