3rd POV
Naruto wakes up screaming who quickly calms down as soon as he sees Shikamaru and Choji with a branch in his hand. He looks around to see Y/N unconscious, whose head is on Sakura's lap with Sasuke and Ino in the vicinity. He looks to his right to see Tenten with Neji helping Lee to his feet. He then remembers Orochimaru and thinking he was the one who attacked his friends and the other groups.
Naruto: (drops to the floor) Everyone hide! Actually lie quick! Where is that guy?
Sakura: (looks to Naruto) Naruto...
Ino: (thoughts) So the fool had finally woken up...
Naruto: (feels head being poked) Gyah!
Naruto looks up to see Choji with the stick he had poking his head.
Shikamaru: You know, you are one of a kind. In fact, this is really getting on my nerves.
Naruto looks around a bit more to try and see if Orochimaru was still around and spots a distinct detail. Sakura had cut her hair shorter.
Naruto: (shocked) Sakura-chan!
Sakura: (confused) What?
Naruto: (runs over) Y-your hair!
Sakura: (touches hair) Oh this? I'm just changing my image. I like it better long but, moving around in a forest like this, it'll just get in the way.
Naruto: (notices Shikamaru and Choji walk over) By the way, why are all of you over here?
Shikamaru: (sigh) You know, it is a real pain just to try and explain things to you.
Sakura: (smiles) Everyone helped out.
Naruto: (confused) Huh?
Ino: (thoughts) Sakura is putting on a real show of bravado.
Everyone hears a commotion as they look over to Tenten who is violently shaking Lee to wake up.
Tenten: (shakes violently) Lee! Wake up!
Lee: (wakes up) ...Tenten, when did you get here?
Tenten: I came to help.
Lee: (looks around) Huh? Where did those Sound Village ninjas go?
Tenten: A kid named Sasuke scared them off along with some guy named Scorpion. Apparently he's Y/N's father.
Lee: (looks to the others) Is that so?
Tenten: Why did you have to act on your own? Besides, you are really beat up!
Lee: (looks down) Well, Sakura-san was in trouble. So as a man, I...
Tenten: (thoughts) Geez. If Lee was alone he could've taken those guys and wouldn't have lost. (speaks to Lee) You are a real idiot you know that?
Lee: (smiles and hugs legs) Can't argue with that.
Naruto: (mocking) Hah! Bushy-brow!
Sakura: (angered) Naruto stop saying rude things to Lee-san!
Instead of Sakura punching Naruto for being the idiot he was and oblivious to the situation, it was Ino instead.
Naruto: (thoughts) What the hell happened while I was asleep?
Shikamaru: Naruto is complete idiot that's out of the loop.
Choji: He's not the type of person to be the protagonist of a story.
(A/N): Funny you say that Choji.
Sakura: (looks to Lee) Lee-san.
Lee: Hmm?
