Y/N was currently seen leaping from branch to branch. Heading to the specified location of where the now dead Lin Kuei assassin, Kuai Liang or, Sub-Zero was seen.
Sub-Zero's revenant roams the lands as Quan Chi still lives because the resurrected Edenian Queen, Sindel, had killed most of Earthrealm's defenders. Including her own daughter, Kitana. Y/N respected Kuai Liang and it did not bother him that he was apart of the Lin Kuei. When the first met, Kuai Liang had spared him, as he was only seeking Hanzo for the unjust killing of his brother, Bi-Han.
Y/N has now made it to a clearing. He keenly scans his surroundings, searching the area to see if there were any clues if Kuai Liang had been here.
He could hear something whiz past his ear. He saw an ice shuriken embedded into the tree in front him. He slowly turns around as he hears the cracking of ice as Sub-Zero was drawing near.

Sub-Zero walks closer, producing two ice blades in his hands.
Y/N: Kuai Liang.

Sub-Zero: There is no need to speak. We should only prepare for kombat.
Sub-Zero brings his sword together, grinding them.

They both charge at each other. Y/N draws his katana and the two are clashed in a heated sword battle. On the last hit, the ice swords shatter. Kuai Liang grabs the shattered ice shards and throws them as makeshift throwing darts.
Y/N narrowly dodges but, the last one was able to embed into his shoulder. He looks up only to see Sub-Zero cause an ice shock wave, staggering him, and shoulder bashing him.
