Naruto had arrived in Konoha, looking around to see everything was destroyed.
Naruto: Where are we anyway?
Gamabunta: Where is the enemy?
Shima, Fukasaku's wife, appears in front of them.
Fukasaku: What's going on, Ma? Why didn't you summon us to the Leaf Village?
Shima: This is the Hidden Leaf Village.
Gamakichi: What do you mean, Granny Shima!?
Shima: Look carefully around you.
The dust clouds clear and they all look around. Taking in the sights, the land formation and where the debris lied was indeed the locations of the buildings of Konoha. In the far back, the Hokage's faces could be seen on the mountain.
Gamabunta: It can't be...!
Shima: And it's obvious who did this. I sense the same energies as when we rode atop Jiraiya-boy's shoulders.
From the distance
Sakura and a member of the Hyuga family were from afar. Behind them was Cornelia, Poney, Green, and Tsukushi. Y/N's body was there as well.
Hyuga Clan Member: That's...
Poney: !? Who is it!?
Hyuga Clan Member: It's Naruto!
Sakura: Naruto!?
With Naruto
Pain could be seen walking up to the yellow haired shinobi, out from the dust cloud. Naruto gains an angry look as he remembered who killed Jiraiya.
Pain: You saved us the trouble of looking for you.
The other Pains that were in the forest, soon jump out, rejoining Yahiko.
Fukasaku: Looks like all six have assembled.
Then, another figure appears.
Fukasaku: Tsunade?
Tsunade: (exhausted) I am the Fifth Hokage!
Anbu: Tsunade-sama!
Tsunade: You trampled on the jewel, the dreams of my predecessors. I will not forgive you! I will settle this now as the Hokage!
Pain: It appears you now understand a little about pain. However...my business is not with you. My business is...
One of the Pains then launch forward, attacking Tsunade to move her out of the way. But he was soon smashed to pieces by Naruto using his Rasengan.
Naruto: With me!
Tsunade stared in shock as she could see the similarities between the Fourth Hokage and Jiraiya.
Naruto: There's no need for Konoha's Hokage to bother herself with the likes of them. You just sit back and sip some tea, Granny.
Tsunade: Naruto!
With Sakura
Sakura: What happened!? I can't tell from here.
Hyuga Clan Member: It was amazing! He took down one of the Pains in one swoop.
Sakura smiles at Naruto's justice. In their moments they needed him, he would show up. But the her smile fades as it forms into a frown. She turns around and looks at the lifeless body of Y/N.
He wasn't moving at all.
Back with Naruto
