Chapter 10: Zabuza Returns

3rd POV

Deep in the forest in the Land of Waves, in a small hut, a boy can be seen. This boy was non other than Haku, the Land of Mist's so-called extermination ninja to destroy the bodies of rogue ninja. He lets down his hair and prepares to leave the hut in the search for medicinal plants and herbs. As he continues his search he sees a familiar orange clad ninja lying on the floor, exhausted. Haku can confirm that the boy must have been on the floor exhausted because of training. Haku begins to creep closer to the boy in his unconscious and vulnerable state, preparing to end Naruto's life.

Transition to Tazuna's home

Y/N POV

I await in the common room with everyone else aside Naruto and Sakura. Naruto must have been up all night training, as usual again. My attention is drawn to a yawning Sakura as she had awaken from her slumber. She honestly looked kinda cute. I'm still not quite sure what this feeling is. Sure there may have been some pretty girls back in the clan but, none have piqued my interest aside from Sakura. As the tired Sakura settles down next to me at the table, Tazuna's daughter and Inari's mother, comes and joins at the table and brings the rest of the food.

Tazuna: Naruto's not here again?

Y/N: Yeah. He was training all night again. Surprised to see Sasuke here as there both are usually competing against each other.

Sasuke: Hmph. I'm just better than him.

Y/N thoughts: One day you say that and next thing you know it he surpasses you.

Sakura: He's crazy, climbing trees out in the dark. He could be dead by now from using up too much chakra. What a loser.

Y/N: Probably tired than dead. Besides he should be fine, not unless wild beasts decide to make him breakfast.

Sakura and Sasuke: (chuckle)

Tazuna's mother: But still, a child shouldn't be alone out in the forest.

Kakashi: Don't you worry now.

Y/N: Naruto may be a goofball and an idiot but...

Kakashi: Naruto is still fully-fledged ninja.

Y/N: Hard to believe that because half the time he pranks people with his so called "sexy jutsu."

Everyone: Sexy jutsu?

Y/N: Yeah, you don't wanna know, especially you Sakura.

Sakura: (confused) Why?

Y/N: Well let's just say, you might kill him or beat him up several times.

Sasuke: While you make a point there, Sakura is still right, he is a loser. He's probably lying on the floor dead.

Y/N: Like I said, he's probably just tired.

Then Sasuke stands and heads to the doorway. Probably just to check on the idiot.

Sakura: Sasuke-kun?

Sasuke: Just going for a walk.

Sakura: But we just started eating.

Y/N: Eeeh, some of us has already started eating.

Transition back to Naruto and Haku in the forest

3rd POV

Haku starts to move his hand towards Naruto and strangle him but, he seems to have change of heart as he starts to shake Naruto, which causes the orange clad ninja to stir and awaken.

Haku: (shakes Naruto) You can't stay out here. You'll only catch a cold if you keep lying on the ground.

Naruto: (groans and tiredly looks to Haku) Who are you?
