An invasion of Konoha had begun. I hold my head in pain as I start to remember the downfall of my clan. It was happening all over again. Am I going to lose my second home? Just when I found someone important to me? A new family? No, I won't let it happen again. I look down to see Sakura, quivering with fear, still buried into in my chest. I stroke her hair, calming her down.
Y/N: I'll protect you no matter what.
Sakura: Promise?
Y/N: I promise.
I look back to the area where the Kage were seated. Was this all planned? There were an absurd amount of Anbu agents around us. I look around the arena to see that several Sand and Sound ninja had infiltrated. I look down below in the arena to see Temari, Kankuro, and a crazed Gaara fleeing through an open hole in the wall. Sasuke gives chase. I was about to as well until one of the Anbu stops me. Shouldn't he be helping the Hokage?
Guy: What are you doing!? Go help the Hokage!
The Anbu man doesn't respond. He just simply stands there. Then, a few Sound ninja jump out of civilian clothing and stand next to him. Have we been betrayed? Explosions start to go off all around the village. This was all a set up. Dammit! Who the hell planned all this!
Y/N: Sensei, have we been betrayed?
Kakashi: Don't act so hasty now. I'm not sure yet.
Guy: Kakashi, look over there, inside the barrier.
I look over to where Guy-sensei was talking about and I see a giant purple squared barrier surrounding the Kage's seating area. I look closer and see that a pale guy was holding the Hokage hostage.
Guy: Orochimaru!
So this was the guy that Naruto and Sakura was talking about. The one who gave Sasuke the curse mark. The sources of that power that protected us while I was out cold when those Sound Genin attacked us.
Sakura: Sasuke's gone!
Y/N: He went after Gaara. Sakura, wake up Naruto and Shikamaru. We'll go after him for support.
Sakura: (nods) Right.
???: I believe that those three will go after him. Not you.
I look over to the voice and my eyes widen. That bitch. That bastard will get what's coming to him.
Kakashi: And you are?
Quan Chi: I am---
Y/N: (angered) Quan Chi!
Quan Chi: Someone missed me.
Kakashi: Y/N, who is this?
Y/N: The one behind everything. Their demise. My suffering. The reason I was trapped in despair. I'll kill you for that day.
Quan Chi: You should've forgotten it boy.
Y/N: (laced with venom) I never forget. Especially when the asshole who caused everything was you.
Sakura: (worried) Y/N don't---
Y/N: (glaring at Quan Chi) No need to worry, Sakura. I'm far stronger than last time.
Quan Chi: You will live for me as a revenant. Your father would be elated.
Y/N: He sure as hell won't be.
Quan Chi: Well it's a shame he's not here. (chuckles evilly) It would be a shame if he had to witness his son die right in front of him.
Y/N: You'll die this day.
