Book II, Chapter 15: Long Time No See?

Y/N POV

Naruto, Sakura, and pretty much everyone else have gone to a lake. Apparently this lake contained the three-tailed beast. Lord Raiden was to visit today so I got ready for the meeting. I was currently kneeling in the shrine room, praying. It wasn't until I heard a blast behind me and the sound of electricity starts to hum in my ears.

I look behind me and I see Lord Raiden lowering his arm down as he just got done teleporting.

Y/N: Lord Raiden. (bows)

Raiden: Grandmaster Hasashi.

I motion him to enter my home and we sat in the common room. Mira had prepared tea for us. I calmly sat there and sipped the tea.

Raiden: How goes the search for Kano?

Y/N: Alright. But, I'm afraid there has been many Outworld incursions.

Raiden: Why is that?

Y/N: A few days ago, Johnny Cage, General Blade, and I encountered Baraka and a camp of Tarkatan warriors here. Even Sindel was here.

Raiden: Sindel? Here?

Y/N: I'm afraid so. How goes the search for Quan Chi?

Raiden: Yes, Quan Chi has made several trips here, and some into the modern area of Earthrealm. But, he has been spending most of his time in the NetherRealm.

Y/N: I see.

Ibara: (opens sliding door) Lord Raiden, Grandmaster Hasashi. You're presence has been requested by the Hokage.

Raiden: Thank you, Ibara.

Y/N: Of course. You're dismissed.

Ibara: Sir. (bows)

As we walked by, there were many people giving us looks. Ones of shock mostly. Have they not seen a god before?

Y/N: What do you think she wants to speak with us about?

Raiden: I do not know. But, I do trust her judgement. I have known her since her youth.

Y/N: (hums in acknowledgement)

We walked up to the Hokage's office. We opened the door and I stood at the attention of Lady Tsunade, waiting for her instructions.

Tsunade: Thank you for coming here.

Y/N: (bows) Of course, Hokage-sama.

Raiden: What has happened?

Tsunade: It appears that Sakura and the others have encountered some of these revenant warriors you have spoken about. Lord Raiden, I would like to ask you to go assist them.

Raiden: Wouldn't it be best that Y/N go and assist them?

Y/N: Yes. Aren't I the person for the job.

Tsunade: Well, someone else has requested help for Y/N. And you will be happy to know that she is happy to see you as well.

Who could it be? Someone asking me for my help.

Tsunade: In fact, she should be waiting by the gates right now.

Raiden: I see the situation. (looks to Y/N) I will go and assist you're friends. I trust you will do you're task as well?

Y/N: Of course, Lord Raiden. And Lady Tsunade, I will go and help the client.

Tsunade: (smirks) Well...she's more of a friend than client. And this particular visitor has another person who would like to see you. Turns out these two go way back.
