3rd POV

In the Land of the Empire

Akame was seen kneeling in front of her bedside table. The picture of her family, the one she cherishes very dearly sat upon there. She was interrupted from her thoughts as she head a knock at the door.

Akame: Come in.

The door opens up to her silver-haired, eye patch wearing boss, Najenda. She walked over to Akame's bed and sat on the edge.

Akame: Is there something you need?

Najenda: I...haven't been truthful with you...

Akame: What do you mean?

Najenda: When I first recruited you, I used you're lust for revenge on the Empire for attacking you're home. I apologize.

Akame: What is this for...?

Najenda: I lied when I said you're brother died. I have a contact that has a lead to where he is.

Akame: Do you know where...?

Najenda: All I know is that right now, he is in a distant land. Whether he is alive or not, I'm not sure. I haven't checked in with my informant. As soon as I get more information, I'll let you know.

Akame: Thank you...I don't blame you for using my lust of revenge though...I would have taken down the Empire myself had you not found me. I was already questioning my allegiance.

Najenda: Well, it's already noon so I think it's about time you made lunch.

Akame: Yes, it does seem about time to. Thank you for telling me, boss.

Najenda: Of course, Akame.

After telling Akame of her brother's supposed status, she leaves the room and enters the common room, taking out a cigarette, lighting it.

Najenda: (thoughts) I'll need to speak with Raiden soon. If Y/N does come here, maybe I can convince him to help us take down the Empire.

She continues smoking and gazes out the window.

In Konoha

Y/N POV

Everything so far has been great. New additions to the clan means more members to our family. I never expected old friends of Nee-san to join. Not only that, they offered to come home with me after our business here, but after I find them, I'm coming back here. This place is still my home and it will always be here at the Shirai Ryu. Right now, I was over looking some documents. 

More applications for recruitment had come in today. Even some documents had come in for hiring us. Some jobs that came in were things about protecting the land's daimyo, escort missions of important figures, delivery payloads, stuff like that.

Y/N: (examines document) Escorting a payload of shipment to Sunagakure? I guess so. I'll have to check who's available first.

I put that document down before looking at some of the recruitment papers.

Y/N: Hmm. A ninja from Nadeshiko Village requests to join. Isn't that the only female ninja village? (looks over skills) She seems to be quite skilled in hand to hand. Not so much with bladed weapons, not unless it's a chain sickle. Her chakra natures are water and earth styles.

A knock was heard on the sliding screen door. I tell them to come in and the door opens to reveal Cornelia.

Y/N: Yes?

Cornelia: The Hokage said she would like to see you.

Y/N: Is that all?

Cornelia: Well...Green, Tsukushi, and I were wondering if its alright to tour the village.
