Chapter 25: Kunoichi Rivals! Settling the Match!

Y/N POV

The next two contestants were Abumi Zaku and Shino Aburame. Now that I think about, doesn't Shino belong to that clan where the use bugs to aid them in battle?

Hayate: (cough) Both combatants come forward. (Shino and Zaku step forward) We will now begin the second match.

Y/N: Why is one of his arms broken?

(A/N): In the anime/manga, both arms were broken but, this is my story so I can do whatever the fuck I want really. Thank you fanfictions for letting you change up some stuff.

Sakura: Well, Sasuke-kun broke it because he...

Y/N: He hurt you, didn't he?

Sakura: (nods)

Y/N: (mutters) Should've killed the bastard.

Hayate: (steps back) Now please begin.

Shino: If you fight, you'll be finished...I suggest you withdraw.

Zaku: (moves arm out) This one still works. One arm should be enough to take you out!

Zaku charges and tries to throw a left hook but, Shino blocks it with his forearm.

Shino: You can't beat me with a single arm.

Zaku: (angered) Don't pester me! (charges up hand) Take this! Slicing Sound Wave!

A huge blast occurs and a big puff if smoke is what's left. Shino rolls out of it, presumably taking a lot of damage. The starts to clear.

Zaku: (grins) Come on. Get up.

The smoke clears with Shino, getting up slowly, looking like he wasn't even affected from the blast.

Zaku: (shocked) W-what?

Everyone starts to hear sounds, sounds of things crawling. So he's unleashed his bugs huh? On cue, bugs start to come out of Shino's right side. That's kinda gross.

Zaku: (taunting) What the hell kind of bluff are you trying to pull?

Bugs then start to slowly make their way behind Zaku, and said person turns around, both shocked and creeped out.

Shino: (holds up finger with a bug) These bugs are called Parasitic Insects. They attack their prey in groups and eat their chakra. By being attacked in this amount, you will surely be finished. If you don't like it, give up. It would be in your best interests. If you decide to use your left arm, I'll simultaneously have my bugs exploit an opening from behind. Conversely, use your techniques on my bugs, I will simultaneously exploit an opening. Either way, you can't get out of this.

He's thought this through and has come up with two different plans. He's good.

Zaku: (screams and raises arms) Don't you dare underestimate me! (tears off sash and raises other arm at Shino's bugs)

Shino brings his hands down. I can see Zaku grin thinking he won but, Shino already won.

Y/N: Shino won.

Sakura: How so?

Y/N: Just watch.

Zaku opens up his hands and prepares to fire out sound waves.

Zaku: An ace in the hole is something you set aside, right?

As Zaku tries to fire, I can see in his arms that the pressure is building up as the bugs Shino sent had already made it into the pipe system Any more pressure he builds up, his arms will burst.

Zaku: Take this!

He kept building up more and his arms had burst open. He stopped and looked at his palms.
