Book II, Chapter 7: Ambush

Y/N POV

Before I could even fall back asleep, we were called back inside. Yamato-sensei wanted to talk to us about something. A potential plan for an ambush.

Yamato: Gather round everyone. And I want to ask you something, Sakura. You too, Miss Poney.

Sakura/Poney: What is it?

Yamato: First, it's the Akatsuki's Sasori.

Sakura: Sasori...

Yamato: I wanted to ask you earlier yesterday but I promised that we weren't going to talk about stuff like that yesterday. I want you to tell me everything. You're the only person who's ever seen Sasori in person, after all...

Sakura: Yes sir.

Yamato: I've received a file on Sasori from the Hidden Sand...but tell me in as much detail as you can. His personality, behavior, mannerisms and habits if he has any.

Y/N: From what you're asking her, it sounds like you're trying to transform into him.

Yamato: That is correct. The spy who infiltrated Orochimaru's organization thinks Sasori is going to meet him at Tenchi Bridge. (brings up photos of Sasori) They might see us through immediately.

Y/N: Yes, it does seem logical that someone approach as Sasori.

Sakura: If Sasori doesn't show up, then the spy might not either.

Yamato: There's a distinct possibility.

Naruto: Then there'd be no point!

Sai: ...Being a spy is a very risky act, after all. Which means the spy is probably being quite cautious.

Naruto: Then are you going to transform into Sasori, Captain Yamato?

Poney: You can transform into people!?

Y/N: Yes, through the use of a jutsu. To use jutsu's, we use chakra.

Poney: What's chakra?

Sakura then goes on explaining what chakra is to Poney. She was quite fascinated in the knowledge of it and she explained that if she concentrated enough, she could feel power flow through her, as if she's building something up. I guess that's her chakra.

Poney: I'm surprised that the Empire hasn't discovered the use of chakra yet. Gozuki had told all about us concentrating to build up energy but, I never realized it was chakra.

Naruto: Umm, what is the Empire?

Poney, Sakura, and I stayed quiet. Out of everyone here, Sasuke and Sakura are the only ones I told my past to. Might as well tell them. I look to Poney and she nodded.

Y/N: The Empire is where I hail from, Naruto.

Naruto: Really!? Where is it!? Do they have any ninjas!?

Y/N: It's a far, distant land. But, it's better here than there. In terms of technology, they are significantly more advanced.

Poney: Especially with the Imperial Arms, or Teigu, we call them.

Everyone except Poney: Teigu?

Poney: Oh, that's right. You guys don't really know them. Well allow me to explain. (clears throat) four-hundred years ago, the First Emperor of the Empire knew he was dying so he sought out high-level Danger Beasts to craft and forge the most powerful weapons in existence. These were known as the Teigu.

Y/N: Have any been scattered to Konoha? Any other land?

Poney: There are 48 total. From what I know, most of them were destroyed during a war. And it's hard to say if they were scattered out this far. I do know that the Empire had searched far beyond it's borders for the materials.
