Chapter 9: Relief

So I'm back. Yeah. Still tired as fuck and still stressed out but, still tryin to figure out how to write the character and how I want to develop the relationship between you and Sakura. This probably messes up the canon storyline but, what's a fanfiction for? Make your own story and shit or something like that. Kill me, anyway thanks for sticking by with me and being patient i guess. Enough of my rambling.

Y/N POV

It's been a day since I had awaken. I missed a day of training and what they have been doing was gathering chakra to their feet in order to climb up walls. I already learned how to do that since Grandmaster Hasashi had trained me to my limits. Come to think of it... who was that man who saved me?

Flashback- A few hours after awakening

Kakashi-sensei had asked me to meet him in his room to ask me about that man who had saved me.

Y/N: You needed me Kakashi-sensei?

Kakashi: (on the floor) First of all, how are you feeling?

Y/N: I'm feeling fine for the most part. The wound seems to have closed up well and is healing nicely. As long as I don't do anything that stresses me so I should be fine.

Kakashi: Well now that I know you're fine, I want to know if you knew that man from a few days back?

Y/N: The one who had a scorpion like outfit?

Kakashi: Yes... from the way he spoke, it seems he knew you.

Y/N: He certainly felt similar. While his voice was different, it sounded it bit like Grandmaster Hasashi.

Kakashi: Do you still think he lives?

Y/N: I don't want to jump to the conclusion he still lives but, I don't want to rule out that possibility either. I'm still bit skeptical about it for because I had witnessed him die in front of me.

Kakashi: Well that certainly explains the skill you have. I could see that his fighting style was similar to yours. Well enough about that, from what the third hokage told me, you are essentially far  stronger and  ahead of everyone else so for your next assignment, I want you to help guard Tazuna with Sakura. Sasuke and Naruto are still practicing concentrating their chakra to their feet.

Y/N: Hai, sensei.

Flashback ends

Y/N (thoughts): I wonder how those knuckleheads are doing?

Sakura POV

Sakura: (yawn)

???: You always this lazy and tired?

I look over to see Tazuna-san walking over to me.

Tazuna: Where's the blonde kid and the one the attitude? Come to think of it where's Y/N?

Sakura: Their training to climb trees. As for Y/N, Kakashi-sensei asked for him earlier.

Tazuna: What? The training's to tough for you?

Sakura: (smiles smugly) I'm the best here, Kakashi-sensei sent me to guard you.

Tazuna: You're joking right? I could've sworn Y/N was the best.

Sakura: Come to think of it, how did you meet Y/N-kun?

Tazuna: If I remember correctly, it was about 3 or 4 years ago. While I travelling to a nearby area, I had asked his clan to protect me while building a bridge. He sure has changed.
