3rd POV

Currently, Tsunade and Shizune were with the Thunder God, Raiden. They needed Y/N to complete their meeting.

Raiden: Where is Grandmaster Hasashi?

Mira: Grandmaster Hasashi has recently departed with the remnants of Team 7. For meetings like this, I am his stand-in. I am Mira Akazawa, (bows) pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Lord Raiden.

Raiden: I see. Send him a messenger hawk when we are done. We must warn him of Quan Chi's movements.

Mira: Excuse me, but what does Grandmaster Hasashi have with Quan Chi? I know he did attempt to invade Earthrealm with Shao Kahn but, it seems that he has a deep hatred for him.

Raiden: Before, the original Shirai Ryu here was terminated by the sorcerer. Young master Hasashi has been tracking his movements.

Mira: (nods) I see. Let's get this meeting started then.

Y/N POV

Right now we are on our way to Tenchi bridge. It was a chance to finally bring Sasuke back to the village. Well, this was more of a clue but, It was still a shot to take. Before we left though, we all went home to pack for the mission.

Mira had told me certain details about Quan Chi's movements. He's already made contact with Orochimaru and has a partnership with the Akatsuki. I was also called in by Tsunade-sama. She warned us of Naruto's nine-tailed fox cloak. Should he go past the third tail, shit could hit the fan.

I was stand by gate until a pair of arms wrap around my neck from behind.

Sakura: What are you doing out here?

Y/N: Oh you know, just waiting for my oh-so-sexy girlfriend of mine.

Sakura: (giggle) Am I that sexy?

Y/N: I wouldn't be with you if you weren't. Besides, I do love that personality of yours.

Sakura: Do you now?

Y/N: Are you not sincere with my words?

Sakura: I just want you to prove it to me.

Y/N: Alright then.

I kiss her deeply and I move my tongue to her lower lip. she missed this as she opened open her mouth to let me explore. I retracted my tongue and she moved hers in, exploring with ferocity. We separated and I give her a kiss on the forehead.

Y/N: Does that prove it to you?

Sakura: (smiles) Yes. Yes it does.

Everyone gathers at the gates and we prepare for departure.

Yamato: Okay...Team Kakashi will prepare to head out!

As we were walking toward our destination, Naruto was giving Sai the stink eye. Sakura was concerned bu, I held her hand to rest her assurance. I don't like the guy either, but something tells me we'll be great friends in the future. A bit of an odd feeling but, I just know we'll be friends in the future.

There has been an odd silence throughout this journey. The only time noise was made was when Sakura would give me the occasional kiss on the cheek.

Sai: What is it?

Y/N: (thoughts) So now he speaks? Then again, Naruto has been staring at him the whole entire time.
