saturday came and here i am on my way to pledis' dance room. today is the day i will finally meet the trainees that i need to mentor. oh im a vocal mentor too, that's what mr. han had offered and suggested me to do. i wouldn't mind tho. the more i know how capable they are in singing, the less hassle about arrangement of lines.

i opened the glass door of the ten-storey building. the one who owns this building and the university i am currently attending are the same. that's why the ceo of this company knows me well. he's also the one who invited me to attend their respective school... and i didnt regret attending that school.

as soon as i entered the building, some staffs are looking at me and greeting me. i just smiled to them in reponse. how i hate being someone's center of attention. i dont like it when other people started to stare at me intently. well, exculde my friends cause they are somewhat my family. im walking down the hallways at the second floor when someone just put his arms around my shoulder which made me rolled my eyes.

"good morning cutie composer lee."

i rolled my eyes again. "shut up im not a cutie."

he giggled. i tried to get rid of his arms around my shoulder. some staffer are looking at us right now. and i dont want some issues again!

"oh you are. by the way have you eaten your breakfast?"

i stopped my pace. he also stopped by in front of me still wearing his eye-smile. the smile i hate the most. I arched a brow still looking at him coldly.

"you dont care."

i continued my pace until i reached the dance room where trainees are. im expecting a loud sounds of the laughter from the girls but i didnt hear any. or i didnt even see any trainees here on this room. i glance at soonyoung, same as me, he's also confused as to why there are no trainees.

"where are they?" i asked in unison.

i seated at the monoblock chair in front of the huge mirror. i can clearly see my reflections there. and i can also see soonyoung typing on his phone. his brows furrowed but later on it turned to smile as he look at me through the mirror. our eyes met.

"they're coming in a minute. let's just wait."

"where the hell they've been? i told them to be here exactly eight in the morning." then i rolled my eyes.

soonyoung sat next to me as we waited for the trainees to arrive. later that minute, the door swung open as the five teenage girls entered the room. scared and worried evident on their faces. i stood up signing them to get in, in front of me. they bowed three times as they said their apologies to us. both me and soonyoung.

soonyoung asked them where the hell they've been. i just nodded as to why they came late. i looked at their profiles on the folder i was handling since earlier. this includes the names of these five trainees in front of me.

a smile crept into my face as i saw that they are all inclined with vocals. i shot them a glance one by one. "so since your profile here said that you are all vocals. . let me hear."

"think that this is just an audition. ." soonyoung then looked at me. "dont be scared of our composer, he won't eat."

i glared at him and he just chuckled in response.

the girl from the left started singing. she's singing one of the most popular SNSD songs. i wrote some notes on the paper of her profile while staring at her with my scrutinizing eyes. soonyoung tapped my shoulder to calm me down. i just ignored it and listened to the girls vocal.

the five of them sang one by one. they sang the same song as same as the first girl in the left which is good and easier for me to determined how poor their vocals are. i shot soonyoung a glance as he's eyes fixated in front. he also squint his eyes.

"what do you think of their vocals, soonyoung?" this is the first time, i called him by his own real name.

"three of them are good but not enough to say that they deserve the lead and main vocal position. ." i nodded. "the other two had a weak vocals."

"but dont worry, this is just a start. maybe you guys all can improve more day by day." i shot a glance on the first girl in the left. "kim soji, stop forcing your vocals to be as sticky as ms. jessica jung's. it might damage your vocals, maybe try new techniques that might suits your vocals best."

after three hours of vocalizing them, soonyoung and i dimissed them after that. i told them that they should be here next saturday at sharp eight and practice the vocal instructions i gave them. i should dragged seokmin or seungkwan here next time to give me more vocal juices. i also told them that next week is their first recording about their song.

soonyoung and i are walking side by side. he keeps stealing glances at me. "say it."

he giggled. "can you call me that again?"

"what call?"

"my name."

i stopped by at the edge of this buildings entrance. i didnt know that it was raining already. the dance room is soundproof thats why.

i shifted my gaze to him, and i already caught him staring at me like he was waiting for me to say something. oh, he wants me to say his name, again.

"can you call me that agㅡ"

"soonyoung."

i didnt tore my gaze to him. i saw how his eyes lit up in happiness hearing me calling his name. i smiled. but not big.

"soonyoung." i repeated.

he smiled big.

"i-i never knew that my name could sound that beautiful, until you say it."

corny but i admit that those phrase makes my heart flutter.
