-Third Person Point Of View-

Shortly after the birth of their daughter, Lucie and Chris spent all of their days together. They talked about the future, the wedding, and most importantly their past. They never had it easy, but somehow managed to come out on top of it all.

Lucie had been feeling guilt and anger for a lot of the things that had happened over the years of their relationship- but not guilty when it came to Chris.
As she began entering motherhood, She realized that she needed to get things over with in her past to really focus on her present.

"Do you really think that this is a good idea?" Chris asks Lucie while staring at her with wide eyes and a concerning pursed lip.

"I have to do this Chris, I'm ready" Lucie sighs, As she nods at him. She knew that it was now or never- Life changes every day and she needed to do this before it was too late.

"I don't want you to stress yourself out before the wedding" Chris sighs as well, stressing the fact that he did not want Lucie to overwhelm herself.

Lucie and Chris have been parents for a whole year now, and although it has been a lot of work- They still decided to plan their wedding. The wedding was tomorrow, But again Lucie couldn't continue on with her life until she closed a chapter of her past.

"I promise you, I'll be okay" Lucie assures Chris as she grabs his hand and gives it a little squeeze.

The big question, Where was she going?
She needed to see the man who not only saved her life on multiple occasions but also brought it to hell.
It had been years since Lucie had seen Rio, because he was locked up and wouldn't be getting out until they were all at least fifty years old. Lucie had been thinking of this day for a long time now. She couldn't get married and continue her life without forgiveness.

Lucie made her way to the Prison while Chris stayed home with their baby. Chris insisted on coming with her, But she knew that she had to do this alone. She wanted Rio to open up to her and she wanted to hear and feel every emotion- without Chris being there for it.

As she entered the prison, it was gloomy and not the place that she wanted to be at. She spoke with the front desk and was escorted to the phone booths.
She waited eagerly, with her nerves going absolutely wild. She hadn't gotten any calls from Rio once he was sentenced, She didn't even go to the trial.
It was too heartbreaking.

She sees a door open as the guards escorted the prisoners in shackles to the phone booths. Their cuffs were released from their wrists but not their ankles as she saw Rio's face for the first time in years. He stared at her with shock and she could tell that he was angry already.

He sits down aggressively, causing a thump that anyone could hear through the glass divider. He picks up the phone while still staring holes into a Lucie's eyes. She didn't know what to expect but she expected the worse.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Rio asks through the phone as his face is almost pressed up against the glass.

"I wanted to see you Rio, This hasn't sit right with me" Lucie admits, trying to be completely honest with him.

"I can't say that I am upset that you're here Lucie" Rio replies, showing signs of remorse.

"I miss you, Everyday- It tears me up inside that things had to be this way. I need you to forgive me" Lucie stutters, placing her hand against the glass.
