Chapter 15

~ Aliyah's POV ~
The whole night everyone helped us pack all our stuff. It was mainly getting our personal belongings and our clothes of course. We had put most of the stuff in our own cars and in Jaden's. Jaden's parents offered if we wanted to stay with them and we gladly took the offer. We were now driving to Jaden's house. Everyone else went their own way and we would meet each other later the next day. When we arrived at the house we took our stuff up to the guest room and I didn't bother to unpack, since it was already 4 am and I was exhausted. Anthony and I would sleep in one bed together and we would figure the other things out tomorrow. After I showered I walked back to the room, but Jaden stood in his doorway.

"Did I wake you up?", I asked standing in front of him. "No, I wasn't sleeping yet. Are you okay?", he asked knowing I was not. I love how he cares and always makes sure I'm alright. And Anthony too, of course. "I don't know", I shrugged. "Do you want to talk?", he asked. "Don't you want to sleep?", I asked chuckling. "Yeah that too, but you're more important than sleep", he said pulling me into his room. He softly closed the door and we sat on his bed. "It's just that I want to hate them, but on the other side I can't", I said sighing, "and the thought of Anthony not being my real brother scares me. Like that's not possible right?" "If you and Anthony are not related then I don't know what family is", he said throwing up his hands. "Don't be silly", I said laughing. "No, I'm serious. The way you two are with each other and care? It's... I've never seen that", he said chuckling. "I just can't imagine any different", I said looking down. "Hey, I know for sure you guys will be fine. And you always have me and the group", he said lifting my face. "I know, and thank you for not letting me leave", I said smiling at him. "I wouldn't give you a chance and no matter what I would forgive you", he said referring to what I whispered before I was about to leave. I smiled and hugged him. We hugged for a while and eventually pulled away.

I went back to the room after saying goodnight to Jaden. Even tho all the events that went on today I was smiling. Like a complete idiot. And I don't even know why. Jaden makes me feel some kind of way, but I couldn't describe it. "Why are you smiling?", Anthony said with a croaky voice sitting up. "Nothing", I said looking up at him and sitting next to him. "Is it... Jaden?", he whispered wiggling his eyebrows. "Stop that", I said covering my face. I was already blushing. "I will just because I'm tired, but we'll talk about this", he said chuckling and laying down. I smiled at him and lay down too. Within seconds we were asleep.

The next day we all woke up around 1 pm. Jaden's parents went to work but asked us to do some grocery shopping before we left tonight. We were going to go to a restaurant for dinner and then we would go to a party. Anthony had to help Avani with decorating her room, so me and Jaden went to the store. We jammed to the music I had put on. We had the same music taste and honestly that makes our bond even stronger. I would always sing toward him like I'm singing the song for him. He would always laugh at me and sing along. When the song 'that way' by Tate McRae came to an end Jaden turned down the volume. "You should come to the studio with me next week", he said focusing on the road. "I would love to hear you sing", I said probably avoiding his intentions. "No not that. I want you to record with me", he said giving me a little smile. "What?", I asked looking at him confusing. "I am recording a new song and I actually need a female voice, so?", he asked looking at me with puppy eyes. "Jae, I'm nothing compared to you. I know for a fact there are other girls who can sing way better than me", I said laughing it off. "Yeah, well... We already held auditions, but I didn't like any of them. And my manager told me, literally: 'go find them yourself then'. So yeah", he said. "But Jae I-", I started. "Please Ali, I love your voice and can you please try?", he asked begging again. "Fine, but I can't promise it won't be ugly", I said smiling at him. "Yayyy", he cheered and parked the car.

When we got to the store we got everything we needed and some snacks, because we could eat a ton. I was sitting in the shopping cart and Jaden was pushing me around. "Jae, can we please get chocolate?", I asked as we were walking by the isle. "Are you on your period?", he asked chuckling. "No, but I do want food", I said looking up at him frowning. "Okay okay, sorry", he said chuckling and grabbing some chocolate. After messing around for an hour we were finally done. We paid and went home. When we got home we grabbed all the snacks we bought and put them on the table by the television. We started a movie and ate a whole lot of the stuff. I'm always surprised how we could eat this much, but I don't really care tho. In the middle of the movie I laid my head on Jaden's chest and he started to play with my hair. I slowly started to fall asleep but Jaden's dad came home. "Hello kids", he said walking up to us. I stood up almost losing my balance and walked over to him. I gave him a hug and he hugged me back. "I'm sorry", he said pulling away. "It is what it is", I said shrugging. I already knew what was coming. "iT iZz whAT It IzZ", Jaden and his dad said with a sassy tone. I laughed at the two and Anthony came walking in short after.
