Chapter 33

~ Jaden's POV ~
Aliyah and I decided to go on a little date today. It's not really a date, but you get it. She said that she wanted to show me some place, so she arrange a little something. I really wanted to take her out, but I'll get that opportunity enough. She told me to just dress comfortable, so that's what I did. I grabbed some black sweatpants and an oversized white t-shirt. I put on my AF one's and go to the living room. Aliyah was sitting next to Maya as I walked in. They were looking on her phone at something. Probably a TikTok. They've become pretty close for a girl were Payton cheated with on her. They were laughing their asses off. The only thing I could hear was her contagious laugh. She is just so beautiful. She had her hair in a messy bun and sweats on. She had a simple hoodie on, but I loved her like this. "What you looking at?", Payton whispered standing beside me. "Uhmm... Ali", I said scratching the back of my neck awkwardly. He nodded slowly looking at me. "What?", I asked. "Nothing", Payton said looking at the two girls. I jointed him and we were just looking at them. I looked at Aliyah and Payton at Maya. Aliyah eventually looked at me and smiled at me. I smiled back at her and I feel my cheeks burn up. This girl makes me feel some type of way.

"You two are together, aren't you?", Payton asked smiling. "Uhh", I said not sure to say anything. "I know, Jay", he said nudging me. I looked at him and smiled a bit. "How did you know?", I asked. "I didn't, but your face said enough", he said chuckling. I nodded and looked back towards Aliyah. "Don't break her heart", Payton said. "Says you", I said trying to hold in my laugh. "I know, but she's an amazing girl. And the way she looked at me when she found out? It's just awful", he said looking down. "Hey, she forgave you", I said. "Yeah...", he said. "And she's pretty good friends with Maya", I said. "She's way to nice for this world", he said looking at her. "Yeah", I said looking at her too. We talked for a little bit before Aliyah walked up to me.

"Hey Payt", she said to Payton. Payton said 'hi' back and Maya stood next to him. "You ready?", Aliyah asked hugging me. "Mhm", I said hugging her back. "Have fun, guys", Maya said smiling at us. "Thanks", I said walking to the front door. "Where are you guys going?", Blake asked. "Out?", Aliyah said looking at him. "Together?", Bryce asked. We both nodded and they looked at each other. "Okay?", Bryce and Blake said in sync. Aliyah shook her head smiling and I opened the door for her. We walked to her car and went in. She was driving so I decided to put some music on. "Where are we going?", I asked turning the music down. "Just wait", she said shooting me a smile. I smiled at her and placed my hand on her thigh. She tensed up a bit and her cheeks turned some shade of pink. I chuckled at her and looked down at my phone again.

After thirty minutes she parked her car. I looked up and only saw some path. "Are you gonna kill me? You promised me not to do it this way", I said looking around. "No Jaden, not yet", she said chuckling, "I have a different plan for that, trust me." I looked at her and the smile on her face was huge. "Let's go", she said getting out of the car. I followed her and she opened her trunk. "When did you put this in your car?", I asked grabbing some blankets. "Last night", she said grabbing a bag. She locked her car and grabbed my hand. "Come on", she said pulling me on the only path that was seen. After walking for a few minutes we arrived by a lake. It was really quiet but also not? I don't know. "I didn't know LA had this", I said putting the stuff down. "Me either, but I found it the other day", Aliyah said also putting her stuff down. "When?", I asked looking at her. "The day before I wanted to leave", she said looking over the lake. "Leave home?", I asked. She nodded her head and looked down. It stayed silent for a while before I decided to speak up. "Wanna swim?", I asked standing behind her. "I didn't bring a bikini", she said. "You don't need it", I said wrapping my arms around her neck. "Jaden", she said chuckling. "Not like that... unless?", I said kissing her neck. She shook her head smiling and turned around. "Okay", she said looking down. "Okay?", I asked. "Okay", she said looking up at me blushing.

Soon we took off our clothes. And I mean all our clothes. We went into the water and swam around. It was so peaceful. Just us. No distractions. And the only thing on my mind was her. Aliyah. I love spending time with her. I wanted to stay here forever.

~ Aliyah's POV ~
As soon as Jaden and I came back from our 'date' everyone started to question us already. I hugged Jaden and took his dirty clothes from him. I walked to the laundry room, while everyone swarmed Jaden. After putting the clothes in the washing machine i walked to my room. I sat on my bed. I still wanted to ask Samira some questions. After doubting for five minutes I grabbed my phone and dialed her. "Hai, with Samira", she said picking up the phone. "Hey, it's Ali", I said laying down on my back. "Heyy, everything okay?", she asked. "Yeah... I just wanted to ask you something", I said. "Sure, go ahead", she said. "Are Anthony and I twins?", I asked. It stayed silent for a while and the only thing I could hear was my heartbeat and the music that was playing on the background. "No", she said. I bit the inside of my cheek, trying to not tear up. "Ali? Are you still there?", Samira asked. "Mhm", I said. "Okay, uhh... you are my daughter, but Anthony is from Lisa and Brett", she said. "Why did you lie?", I asked as a tear rolled down my cheek. "I don't know Ali, really... it just happened so fast, but I know I shouldn't have lied to you," she said. I could hear she was upset. "Did Anthony know?", I asked her. "I don't know", she said.

We talked for a long time after that. She explained to me the whole situation. So... her and my biological dad Michael become pregnant around the same time as Lisa and Brett. They both gave birth to us on the same day. Samira in the morning and Lisa at the end of the day. And because Samira was that young grandma decided that it was better if I became Lisa 'daughter'. My dad was not the best person. Samira told me that he was a really good guy to her, but he had his bad sides. Grandma forbid him from seeing me and Samira had to break up with him. She haven't seen him for 14 years now. They tried to stay in contact, but he murdered someone and went to jail for twenty years. That means that he should be getting out over 6 years. I am still not sure if I want to meet him. One part of me says 'yes', but the other part makes me scared. What if he doesn't want to meet me? What if he hates me?

I laid in my bed when I get a text from the group chat that dinner was here. I went downstairs and sat next to Noah and Jaden. They ordered sushi so that is what we ate. I wasn't really hungry. Maybe because I felt nauseous, but maybe also because I kept thinking about my dad. Jaden puts his hand on my back making me look at him. "Are you okay? You've been playing with that for ten minutes", he asked pointing at the sushi piece that was placed on my plate. "Just not hungry", I said giving him a little smile. "You? Not hungry?", he asked. "I know", I chuckled. He squeezed my side lightly giving me a smile. He continued eating and I zoned out once again. After dinner everyone went to do their own stuff. I walked to Jaden's room. I hear music coming out of his room and I could hear him sing. His voice always went thru every fiber of my body. I didn't recognize the song, so he must have been working on it. I stood in the doorway as he was strumming his guitar. The only thing I could do is smile at how at peace he looks when he sings.

He finally looked up and saw me standing there. "Hey", I said softly. "Hi", he said standing up and putting his guitar away. He walked over to me and put his hands on my cheeks. He kissed my forehead and pulled me into his chest. I wrapped my arms around his torso and closed my eyes. "I'm here", he whispered holding me close. I pulled away and looked up at him. "I know... I just need to figure some stuff out", I said biting my lip nervously. "Okay", he said pecking my lips. "What were you playing?", I asked as we walked to his bed. "Oh, it's not done yet", he said grabbing his notebook. He always has this book where he writes in. I never got to read it, but I know a lot is in it. I nodded my head slowly, not wanting to push him. I laid down on his bed and closed my eyes. He put his notebook away and closed his bedroom door. I feel the bed dip beside me and I smell Jaden's scent. He runs his hands thru my hair and it make me relaxed. He put the covers over me and turned my back towards him. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I feel his breath on my neck. "I had fun today", he whispered placing a kiss on my neck. "Me too", I said smiling to myself. I took one of his hand and brought it up to my face and kissed it. "I adore you, Jaden Hossler", I whispered. "And I adore you, Aliyah Reeves", he whispered back. I wanted to say something else, but I was not sure if I was ready for that...
