Chapter 30

The past week there have been a tension in the house. You already guessed it. Because of me and Anthony. I've been trying to avoid him most of the time. Otherwise I just wouldn't talk to him. I know it petty, but I'm not going to forgive him this fast. Same for Avani. Last night we decided to give a house party, since we haven't given one. We finally got everything we needed for the house and all the other decorations. I wasn't really in the mood for a party, but Bryce insisted to have one. Everyone invited anyone they wanted. Even the parents would come. I asked Samira if she wanted to come and she said yes. She said she would bring her boyfriend. He really wanted to meet me and Anthony. I still have a lot of questions about the whole situation, but I didn't know how to ask it. Anthony lied to me once again, and he probably isn't even my brother. I shook my head getting out of my thoughts and stood up from the couch I was sitting on. I also haven't talked to Josh after that night. I decided to talk to him now and just hope he's okay.

I walked into the living room and the girls walked up to me. "Hey, we're getting Starbucks and go to the mall, do you wanna come?", Addison asked giving me a side hug. "Uhm, I wanted to go talk to Josh... you know", I said looking at Nessa. "Sure, you can always join us", Nessa said smiling. "Yeah, for sure", I said smiling back at her. "If we see something for you to wear for tonight we'll buy it", Maya said winking. "You don't have too, I have enough clothes", I said shrugging. "No, you're not wearing pants again. It's our party so we need to look FA-BU-LOUS", Addison said flipping her hair. We all started to laugh and I shook my head. "Okay fine, but not too expensive. I'll pay you back", I said toward Maya. "Sure", she said sarcastically. I know she won't let me pay her back, but I'll make it up to her somehow. "See you in a bit", Addison said hugging me again. Maya hugged me and Avani just walked past me, which I didn't mind. Nessa hugged me and wished me luck. I smiled at her and they left.

I walked to the backyard and saw all the boys sitting there. "Hey, where are the girls?", Blake asked sitting on the edge of the pool. "They went to the mall", I said and walked up to Josh. He was talking to Anthony so I waited until he was done talking. "Hey", Jaden whispered hugging me from behind. "Hi", I said turning around. I hugged him back and took in his scent. "Why didn't you go with them?", he asked pulling away. "I wanted to talk to Josh", I said. He nodded and raised his eyebrows looking at Anthony, indicated that Anthony was talking to him. "I know", I said turning back around. "You can just talk to him, you know", Jaden said. "I know, but I'm still upset about what he said. It's just not okay what he did", I said frowning looking down. "Yeah, that's true", he said lifting my face, "don't let it ruin your day." I gave him a soft smile and hugged him. I really wanted to just kiss him, but we still were not really 'anything'. And even tho I was mad at Anthony, I did care what he thought of it.

"Hey, you two!", Bryce yelled from inside the pool. Jaden and I pulled away and looked at him. "Get a room!", he said chuckling. All the boys were looking at us and started to laugh quietly. "Shut up, dude", Jaden said starting to blush. I shook my head and smiled at Bryce. I turned to see Josh looking at us. "Can we talk?", I asked. He nodded and stood up. I gave Jaden a little smile, looking at his quite red face he had gotten. As I walked past him he pushed me a little bit, almost making me fall into the pool. I turned around gasping sarcastically. "Watch your step", he said tilting his head. I squeezed my eyes at him and turned around again. I hear Josh laugh behind me. As soon as Jaden wasn't paying attention at me anymore, I turned around again. "Just a sec", I said towards Josh. Josh chuckled already knowing what I was going to do. I sneaked up behind Jaden and pushed him in the pool. I started to laugh and the boys joined me. Jaden came back up to the surface and looked at me. "You better watch out now", he said with a serious face. "Or what?", I asked tilting my head looking at the soaked boy in front of me. "Just wait", he said biting his lip. A lot went thru my mind, but I think I knew what he meant. If you know, you know... I shook my head and started to blush. I smiled to myself and walked off. "Let's go", I said walking past Josh smiling like an idiot. "Yep", he said chuckling.
