Chapter 24

After laughing, talking and a whole lot of kissing we finally went back downstairs. We walked into the movie room talking about something random when the whole room went silent. We didn't notice at first, but then we stopped talking too. "What's going on?", I asked. "I'm guessing you're good again?", Bryce said pointing at our hands. We both looked down and saw we were holding hands. I started to blush and Jaden smiled. "Yeah, we're good", Jaden said pulling me in for a side hug. I looked up and smiled at him. "Okay, that's enough of that", Anthony said burying his head in the crook of Avani's neck. "Says you", I said shaking my head. We went to sit down and I sat next to Avani. I pushed Anthony off her and Avani and I started to cuddle. "Hey! You have your own cuddle buddy", Anthony whined pointing at Jaden. "Well, I like this one more. No offence Jay", I said chuckling. "None taken, I know mines are better", Jaden said sticking his tongue out at Avani. She squeezed her eyes and stared intensely at Jaden. "Okay, never mind", Jaden said looking away. "She's scary", Jaden said to Anthony. Anthony nodded his head frantically and we all started to laugh.

The rest of the day we decided to just chill at the house. The furniture was finally coming today. We only had couches in the movie room, but they were getting replaced too. Blake and Noah went up to the guys who brought the couches. We all stayed inside until Blake called us. We helped the guys and put the stuff inside. After they left we put everything where we wanted. We were done within two hours and decided to go to the beach. All the guys went into the water, but the girls and I decided to tan and talk for a bit. "Sooo?", Avani said sitting up and shaking me. "Yeah, sooo?", Addison did the same. "What do you want?", I said sitting up chuckling. "You promised to tell us", Addison said. "Uhmm...", I stuttered looking at Maya. We are not really close. Obviously. But I didn't wanted her to feel left out. But it was also weird to just talk about that with her? I tapped her shoulder and I signed her to come closer. "Okay, so...", I started. I was already blushing thinking back about that night. Replaying every little bit in my mind.

"We were just cuddling and then he asked me if he can try something. And I nodded and then he kissed me. And then we sort of... made out? And then he started to kiss my neck. But I knew we shouldn't do it, because of everything... but it felt good? Or... perfect?", I said looking down at my hands smiling. "Oh my god, Ali!", Addison said cheering. "You two are perfect for each other", Avani said. Maya just giggled and we started to laugh. "I don't know, it feels to early", I said shrugging. "You know what they say. Love comes when you least aspect it", Avani said raising her eyebrows smiling. "Easy here, I don't even know if it's love yet", I said looking down. "Oh stop that, have you seen yourself around him? And him around you? You guys are crazy for each other", Addison said. "Payton said it too", Maya said tuning in for the first time. I looked up confused and she smiled. "He said that he can see that you are truly happy, because you used to be that with him", she said, "and he only wishes you the best, really." I looked at the water and look at Payton. I smiled a bit. I'm happy we are on 'good' terms. Well... I don't know, okay... I looked back at Maya and smiled at her.

We talked a little bit about the boys and what was happening in our lives. Mainly brand deals or photoshoots, but nothing special. After spending time at the beach, we decided to stay for the sunset. The temperature went down and we all sat together. Jaden sat next to me and pulled his hoodie over my head. "Aren't you cold?", I asked pulling at the sleeves to cover my hands. "No, I'm fine", he said smiling. He pulled me closer to him and I laid my head on his shoulder. He pressed his lips on my forehead and laid his head on top of mine. Everyone talked and laughed about what we wanted to do if we were older. Cracking jokes now and then and deep talks. We do it often, we were so close that we really felt comfortable. Even when Noah and Maya jointed the group, it just clicked. I looked up at Jaden while he was talking to Payton. I really think I'm getting over Payton. He will always mean a lot to me, but Jaden... he makes me feel different. In a good way. Without me noticing I was staring at him. He looked down and kissed my nose. "What are you looking at?", he asked smiling. "You", I spat out. I looked away, almost drowning in his blue eyes. I started to blush and he pulled me in for a hug. I hugged him back and soon after we left to go home.

Since it was dinner time we wanted to have a little family dinner. We all got ready and dressed somewhat fancy, but not too fancy. We went to an Italian restaurant, where we went for my birthday last year. The food there is absolutely delicious. The girls and I went into one car, while the boys took two cars. We blasted the music and sang along. Before we arrived at the restaurant I turned the volume down. "You know what we should do?", I asked turning around looking at Avani and Maya who sat in the back. They shook their and Addison did too, turning around the corner. "Let's have a girls day or trip soon. Just us and then we'll go somewhere", I said excited. "Yes, please", Avani said and Maya agreed. "Where should we go then?", Addison asked turning the car off. "Maybe we can go to Bora Bora?", Maya said shrugging. "Oeehh, I would love that", I said smiling. "Let's sort it out tonight", Avani said unbuckling herself. We got out and met up with the boys in front of the restaurant. For a difference there wasn't any paparazzi. We got our table and sat down.

After the waiter gave us the menu, the table went silent. Only little sound were heard from people mumbling what they wanted. I already knew what I wanted so I closed my menu. "You already made a choice?", Jaden asked looking at me. "Yeah? You?", I asked chuckling. "No, there is too much to choose out of", he said laughing. I helped Jaden choosing something and when everyone was done, the waiter came back. "What can I get for you guys?", she asked smiling. "Uhm, can we wait a little bit? We are waiting for someone", Jaden asked. "Yeah of course, give me a sign if you're ready", she said smiling and walked off. "What do you mean? Who's coming?", I asked. "Just wait, okay?", he said giving me a little smile before smirking at Anthony. "Guys what is going on?", Avani asked looking between them. "Just wait, babe", Anthony said chuckling. Anthony and Jaden seem to be the only person's to know what was going on, because the rest of us looked confused.

Jaden's phone rang and he picked it up. "Yo", he said answering it. "...we're in the corner... where we usually sit", he said smiling. He hung up and smiled at me. I was still really confused, but he looked really happy. After a few minutes some guy with his hood up walked over to our table. I shared confused looked with Avani and Maya and looked back at the guy. He slowly took of his hood but still looked down. I couldn't recognize him, but something was familiar. He finally looked up, showing his face, and we all immediately recognized him. We all stayed silent and were just smiling. "Is no one coming to hug me?", he asked chuckling. I stood up first and walked up to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist and buried my face in his chest. He pulled away and we looked at each other. "You've grown, Joshy", I said chuckling. "Still with that nickname, huh?", Josh asked chuckling. "Jep, only me", I said smiling and hug him again. "You grew up beautiful", he whispered. I pulled away and smiled. I stepped back so the others could greet him. Noah walked up to me and asked, "who is he?" "Josh, he used to live here, but moved a while ago. He is part of our group", I said smiling. "Hmm, he seems to like you", he said nodding his head towards Josh. I looked away from him and locked eyes with Josh. He winked at me and I smiled back. Oh boy... there we go...
