Chapter 35

"Please say someth-", I started with my eyes glistering. Before I knew Jaden pulled me in for a tight hug. He rubbed my back and kissed the top of my head whispering little things. It calmed me down instantly and I wrapped my arms around his torso. "I-I'm sorry", I whispered pulling away. "It's not your fault", he said kissing my cheek, "and we don't know anything for sure, right?" That's when I thought about the pregnancy test I was going to take today. I shook my head lightly looking down at my hands. "I forgot the pregnancy test", I said softly. "We can get it now, if you want?", he said grabbing my hands making me stop fidgeting with them. "The stores are closed, Jay", I said looking up at him. He nodded slowly pressing his lips together. I still didn't know if he was upset about all of this or not. "How are you feeling?", he asked. "Besides feeling sick, I'm fine", I said shrugging. "Does anyone know?", he asked. "Only Blake, but if Anthony finds out he'll lock me up and kill you", I said biting my lip. "It's not his life. He needs to learn that you are growing up and having your own life", Jaden said pulling me in for a side hug. He keeps his arm around my shoulder and started to walk to the door again. "When are you going to the doctor?", he asked stopping right before walking in. "Tomorrow", I said looking up at him. "Do you want me to come with you?", he asked with a little smile. "I would love to", I said smiling back at him. He kissed my cheek and we walked back inside.

The next morning Jaden and I got ready early and I told Blake that I told Jaden and that he was coming with me. Even tho I told him he still woke up to wish us luck and hug me. Blake and I never were that close, but I feel like we've become closer over the months. He feels more like a brother to me, especially since Anthony is being an ass. After walking out, we got in Jaden's car. Every second that went by made me even more anxious. The whole ride it was silent. The only thing you could hear was the soft music playing and probably my heartbeat. The car came to a stop and I look up. The hospital. I bite my lip looking down at my hands again. Jaden turned off the car and turned to me. He grabbed my hands and pulled them close to his face kissing them. "It doesn't matter what happens today, I will always be with you okay?", he said raising his eyebrows. I gave him a weak smile and nodded. A tear rolled down my cheek and Jaden wiped it away before I could. "Babe, we'll be fine", he said softly. "I- ... I'm scared, Jay", I said looking down. "Hey, I'm scared shitless too. But we can do this, no matter what", he said lifting up my chin meeting his ocean blue eyes. I wiped away my tears and took a big breath. "Let's to this", I said looking at Jaden. He gave me a smile and kissed me before getting out of the car.

~ Blake's POV ~
Jaden and Aliyah left. It was already 11 am and I've been sitting on the couch scrolling thru TikTok. I hear people and everyone finally came out of their rooms. "Where's Jay and Ali?", Bryce asked walking into the living room. "They went out early", I said shrugging hoping nobody would ask any further. I'm the worst lair ever. But of course the odds where against me. "Where did they go?", Anthony asked sitting across from me on a different couch. "Uhm... don't know", I said looking away from him. My palms started to sweat and my heartrate was raising. "You do", Anthony said. I hate that he knows me this well. "What?", I asked looking up. "You know, Blake", he said again. "I don't know what you-", I started but got cut off. "You're the most terrible lair ever, you know that? Now tell me what's up", Anthony said chuckling. "I can't tell you", I said looking down. "Really and why's that?", he asked leaning forward. "Maybe because Ali doesn't want you to know", I said shrugging. "It's not that big of a deal, just tell me", he said frowning. Everyone else was quiet which made it even harder. "I'm sorry Ant, but no", I said. "What is it Blake?", he said a lot more irritated now. This is going to be a long morning. Please come home soon, Ali.

~ Aliyah's POV ~
We walked into the doctor's room and I started to get nervous again. Jaden grabbed my hand and squeezed it slightly. The doctor asked us to sit down and we did. "Hi, I'm doctor Carter. What can I help you with?", she asked smiling at us. "I think I might me pregnant", I spat out, but it was rather silently. "Okay... how old are you?", she asked. "18", I said. She started to type and ask, "and you?" She looked at Jaden and he looked confused. "Uhm, 19", he said shifting in his seat. "When is the last time you had unprotected sex?", she asked. "About three weeks ago?", I said thinking. I see Jaden's face change, as he probably found out when it was. "Do you have or take any type of contraceptions?", she asked. "I have the patches", I said. "And do you take them off after 3 weeks?", she asked. "Yeah... I was supposed to be on my period a week ago", I said looking down. "Mhm, okay. Well we are going to take a look for you, before taking any drastic decisions", she said giving me a little smile. I nodded at her and she told us what was going to happen.

About an hour later we got back from waiting and the echo they made. They didn't tell us anything, which made it ten times worse. "Sit down", doctor Carter said closing the door behind us. "So... you are not pregnant", she said with a little unsure smile. I let out a big breath I was keeping in and looked at Jaden. He gave me a reassuring smile and I looked back at her. "I talked with my colleagues and you do have a lot of symptoms of pregnancy. Nausea, unregular periods, tired", she said explaining, "I think you might have a thyroid disorder." I looked at her questioned not understanding anything she just said. "It's an organ in your body that controls your metabolism. And if it's disturbed it could give the symptoms that look like pregnancy, because the same actually happens when you are pregnant", she explained. "Is there anything to do about it?", I asked. "Yeah, just with medication it could be solved", she said. I nodded slowly. "It's nothing that you could die of", she said, "we are not sure yet, but I want you to come back next week to do some test and then we'll know for sure." "Sure", I said giving her a smile. "But for today, you guys can go home", she said standing up. "Thank you", I said shaking her hand. "Yeah, thanks", Jaden said shaking her hand too. "No problem, anytime. And be careful next time", she said raising her eyebrows. "We will", Jaden said chuckling.

As soon as we left the hospital we got coffee and went back to the house. I walked up to the front door and hear yelling coming from inside. Jaden and I shared a look and both started to frown. I opened the door and see Anthony and Blake yelling at each other. They stopped talking and Anthony instantly looked at me. Everyone else was also in the hallway, probably making sure they won't attack each other. Everyone looked over at me and Jaden, they all looked shocked. "What the hell are you thinking?!", Anthony yelled walked up to me. I feel Jaden standing closer to me and I just frowned at Anthony. "What are you talking about?", I asked. "You being PREGNANT with his child!", he said pointing at Jaden. I quickly looked at Blake and he mouthed 'I'm sorry'. I looked back and Anthony on let out a little chuckle. "Why would you care?", I said looking at him. "Because you're my sister!", he said frowning. "Don't lie Ant, you know that's not true", I said raising my eyebrows. His expressions changed and I knew he knew I wasn't really his actual sister. "Ali, I'm sorry about that okay? But you can't be pregnant", he said. "And why not?", I asked tilting my head. "Because... you're 18 and Jaden...", he said looking at him. "What about him?", I asked stepping in his sight. Not that it really mattered, because they both towered over me. "You're just too young", Anthony said looking at me. "Anthony, you can't tell me what to do with my life or who I can or can't be with. I'm growing up and you should just let me live!", I said walking past him.

I walked towards the stairs but I first walked to Blake. I gave him a hug. "I'm sorry, he just kept asking", Blake said fast still in the hug. "It's okay, everything will be okay", I said whispering the last part. Blake pulled away and looked at me with big eyes. "You're not...", he said not finishing it. I shook my head and gave him a little smile. He pulled me in again. "Thank god, I wasn't ready to be uncle", he said letting out a big breath. I let out a chuckle and let him go. I walked up to my room shutting the door. I slide down the door and took my head in my hands. I just started to cry, finally letting everything go. And I mean really... everything.

Well, she isn't pregnant...
But her and Anthony are still not on good therms, mainly because of Anthony

School is already stressing me out,
But we have to keep going.... :)
