"I just finished my last scene for the day so you can come over and pick me up. I took a short leave from the director so I can leave earlier" She said holding the phone up to her ear.

"She had just finished her scene and was now getting out of her wig and make up. She was seated in front of the dressing mirror while the make up team carefully remove her hair ornaments.

She was currently filming a historical drama so before and after euch shoot she had to come in for hair and makeup.

Her phone was held by her assistant while she filmed her scenes so she wasn't able to answer any of her calls or messages until she was done filming.

It was for this main reason that she always sends over her work schedule to her family and friends.

Zhou Jianyu had already informed her of the family dinner at Ouyang residence. So she had been expecting his call.

As soon as she was done with her scene she retrieved her phone from her assistant Da Xia. As expected ten minutes later her phone rang.

"Okay drive safely see you soon and you too" she replied and the call came to an end.

That must be Big Boss Zhou" a member of the make up team said from behind her.

"Yes " Bai Zhenzhen replied cheek bright red.

"How cute, he must be coming over to pick you up" the crew member said which brought loud cooing sounds out of the rest of the females present.

It was the general dressing room so a few members of the cast and crew were present.

"He is" she said blushing brighter

'awwwn' everyone else chorused loudly.

"You guys are so cute together. I am so happy for you"

"I was so happy when I saw you announced your marriage Sister Zhenzhen"

"When are you going to invite us to dinner to celebrate it?

"Yes that's right. When is the wedding. I am looking forward to attending it"

They said loudly one after the other. After shooting for close to five months the cast and crew had gotten quite close.

They were almost like family. This was one of the most inclusive people she had ever worked with.

Maybe it was because of how long it had taken them to plan and shoot the series. They had known each other for almost six months now.

Everyone was very free and comfortable with each other even the Elderly cast members were like father's and mother to the younger generation.

Director Zhong on the other hand unlike few director's wasn't difficult to work with. He was understanding and patience with everyone.

Especially since the crew comprised of many young actors and actresses who were very experienced so in the beginning of production a lot of mistakes were made.

If Director Zhong wasn't as patient as he was filming would have been very uncomfortable for everyone.

Thankfully after Five months of filming everyone had improved and mistakes be were fewer.

Before filming they had taken time to study the script and stunts for the movie for a month and half before filming started proper.

They were now rounding up the filming in less than a month they would be done filming be and go into post production.

Director Zhong was known to take his time when producing a movie both during the principal photography stage and post production stage.

Most of his movies took close to six months to film and even longer for post production and they always came out of master pieces.

Even though the public had to wait close to a year for a Director Zhong movie to premiere it was always worth the wait.

Especially since his target audience were the international community. Taking part in a director Zhong production was a ticket to world wide recognition.

Even though it often prevented the artist from taken any other project for half year. Most artist fought for an opportunity to work with him.

Sadly Director Zhong didn't take more than one or two projects a year. [The palace] was his only project in years and he had been planning this project for two years now.

Bai Zhenzhen like the rest of the cast and crew enjoyed working with him. It was a wonderful experience, thanks to his constant  guidance she had a lot improvement in her acting and line delivery.

"When the wedding has been fixed I would let you know" she said blushing.

"Okay we'll look forward to that"  the crew member that asked for the wedding invitation replied.

Forty minutes later Zhou Jianyu arrived on set and she came out and got into the car. They were going to stop by at home to wash up and pack a change of clothes since they would  be sleeping over.

They had given aunt Mu the rest of the day off, she had left at noon so when they got home the house was empty.

The washed up and got dressed then left for Ouyang residence. They had brought over some health drinks and fruits with them.

On arrival they were let in by the steward, who they handed their gift over to and walked over to the living room.
