Isaac and I sprinted into a clearing in the woods, finding the werewolf from the vault glaring at a woman. He rushed forwards, knocking her to the ground but she quickly got back up. She threw him against a tree and managed to land a few punches on me before Derek and Scott arrived.
The latter kicked her to the ground as my uncle roared at her. She stared at him for a moment before running away. Derek began to follow her with Isaac and I in tow, leaving Scott to deal with the woman.
Scott had just gotten off the phone with Stiles, having learned about a dead kid that Lydia found at the pool. 'This doesn't make any sense,' Derek huffed, 'The public pool is all the way on the other side of the woods, we haven't tracked them anywhere near there.'
Scott sighed, 'Derek, they killed someone.'
My uncle ignored him, 'How are they moving so fast? They can't be that fast on foot!'
'They killed someone, some totally innocent kid is dead. And it's our fault.'
Derek was silent for a moment, 'It's my fault.'
'We need help.'
'We have Isaac and Ari now.'
'We need real help. They're too fast for us, for all of us. They're too strong, too rabid.'
Derek couldn't tear his eyes from the ground, 'We'll catch them.'
Isaac sighed, 'What happens if we do? We're just gonna hold them down until the sun comes up?'
'Maybe it would be easier just to kill them,' Derek sighed.
I shook my head, 'Killing them isn't the right thing to do.'
'What if it's the only thing to do? If we can't even catch them, what else do we do?'
'Find someone who knows what they're doing.'
Derek frowned, 'Who?'
I huffed, 'Someone who knows how to hunt werewolves. It might take some persuasion, though. He's not really a fan of the whole hunting thing at the moment.'
Derek pulled me to one side, looking quite nervous as he searched for the right words. 'Ari, I... I recognised the girl in the vault.'
'Really? Who was she?'
He sighed, 'My younger sister, Cora. Your aunt.'
I frowned, 'Hold up, I thought you said that all the Hale's died?'
'Well, evidently, I was wrong.'
I gave him a quick hug, 'We're gonna find them and we're gonna make sure that they live, okay?' He nodded.

Derek, Isaac and I were sat in his car, waiting for Scott to negotiate with my uncle. We had figured that he'd be slightly more pissed off if he found out that they'd dragged me into it.
'So your, uh... your sister,' Isaac said as he looked over at Derek. There was no reply, just a disapproving glare. 'Sorry, yeah, it's... it's bad timing, I'm sorry. I'll ask later. It's fine,' Derek glared at him again, 'Or never. Yeah, yeah, I'm good with never.'
Chris dropped his bag of hunting equipment, crouching down to look at the footprints. 'You're tracking them by print?'
Scott nodded nodded, 'Trying to.'
'Well, then, you've been wasting your time. There's only one creature on earth that can visually track footprints, and that's man. And if you're not trained like me, you have no idea that this print is Boyd's, and these...'
