"Hey, y'all! People of Japan, are you listening?"

Y/n's improved impersonation of Lilian Weinberg rang though the ears of new members of the Tsukasa army. For a few hours a day, Y/n had been put through intense work by Nikki, who now dubbed her "the best Lilian impersonator," along with some help in acting from Gen. Now not only could she lie, but she could lie as her favorite pop star from the modern era. Though she disliked manipulating people, she reminded herself that it'd help save everyone, so she figured she could stray from her morals for a while.

"Whoaaa!! It really is Lilian Weinberg!"

"Yup, that's right! America has been revived, and we have American troops on their way!" Y/n continued in English, while Gen used an unrecognizable voice to translate. "However, it'll take a while for our troops to arrive, so we'd really appreciate if you could stop Tsukasa from breaking the statues. Until then, everyone, please go along with Senku's plans, okay?"

Senku grinned at Y/n before putting the record on for everyone to hear. She stepped back, taking a sip of water. Trying to imitate Lilian's high pitched Southern accent made her throat sore. Soon enough, the record stopped, and a new voice could be heard from the other end.

"You look like you're all having fun. I'd like to hear from that phone too."

All at once, everyone went silent, on both ends of the line, and Y/n could only assume that meant one thing: Ukyo was the one who had just spoke. All at once, her nerves started going crazy, her mind running through everything that was about to go wrong. Gen tapped her shoulder lightly, giving her a thumbs up before mouthing at her to speak. She took a deep breathe and nodded, knowing they were in too deep to back out now.

"Who is this? This is Lilian Weinberg!" Y/n said in English, waiting nervously for Ukyo's reaction.

"Amazing, it really is Lilian."

Y/n almost sighed in relief.

"Normally, this would be my loss, however... There is no trembling in her voice after singing so passionately, which in itself is hard to imitate. So, who exactly are you? Perhaps the famous Y/n? Hmm, you must be," Ukyo said, but what Y/n found odd was that he wasn't speaking Japanese, rather, he was speaking English. She was astonished, and if anything, slightly creeped out. How did he figure that out so quickly? Away from the phone, Gen and Senku were seething in frustration.

"Shit!" Senku cursed. "Something so damn small..."

"Ahh⁓ I suppose it wouldn't have mattered either way..."

"I'm so sorry you two..." Y/n bit her lip in frustration. She should've realized he'd pick up on something like that... She felt extremely useless. Gen's eyes widened, as if he'd just had a revelation.

"Hang on... Why did Ukyo speak English just now? Could it be... He didn't want anyone else to hear what he said?" He smiled, then turned his focus back to the phone. "To be honest, Ukyo already behaved strangely before. When he found us at the gravesite, he fought us alone, rather than running to Tsukasa and the others."

"So that means... He's our ally?"

"Kukuku, maybe. If Ukyo joins us, our chance of victory in these Stone Wars would increase significantly," Senku noted, then turned to speak into the receiver, "So the one who delivered the battery to Chrome. That was you, Ukyo, wasn't it?"

"Wow, you really are quick on the uptake, aren't you, Senku? It's what got you killed before," Ukyo continued, "But it's not like I'm your ally."

"Yeah, I figured," Senku chuckled, "Otherwise you wouldn't have even caught Chrome in the first place, would you?"

"Right. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of people you are, because I saw the outrageous mission you sent Yuzuriha on.. It's amazing, isn't it? You really do intend to save all of humanity with the power of science."
