Chapter Fourteen

Things were rather slow when it came to her duties, so Kira had been spending more time just lazing around at home, which consisted of just sleeping, eating, drinking sake and just getting to know Tohru whenever the young teen was not working or doing chores.

The other times had been mostly just observing and watching the interactions she's been having with Yuki or Kyo.

It did not take long just as she and Akito predicted, but it was making Kira worried for the change that was clearly happening before her eyes. Her sister had not liked Tohru and Kira had no strong judgement on her, except for that she is definitely changing something.

"I hate, hate, hate leek...!" Kyo suddenly shouted as he came into the living room joining everyone else.

Shigure chuckled straightening his manuscript, "Not just leek, you hate onions and miso, too, right?"

"Miso, as long as it's in soup, is ok!!" Kyo seethed towards Shigure

Tohru waved her hands innocently, as she slowly got up from the floor, "I didn't know that you...I'm sorry I'll make something else right now!"

However, Yuki who had just been walking into the living room swiftly grabbed a pair of chopsticks and grabbed some of the sautéed leeks. He turned to Kyo and held his nose tightly and shoved the food into his mouth.

"Eat it!!"

Kira clapped her hands as she watched the whole scene," Nice, Yuki!"

"Uh, He's already passed out, Sohma," Tohru said slowly as she tried to hold back her panic and worry.

Kira suddenly lowered her cup, making Shigure who was next to her notice.

"What's wrong?"

"Tohru, it would seem we have a guest" Kira turned to the teen and smiled. Tohru was about to question the unexpected statement was cut off to the doorbell ringing. She quickly got up and left the living room, leaving the Sohma's to turn to Kira-minus Kyo who was unconscious.

"Who is it?" Yuki asked

Kira chuckled and turned to Kyo while leaning on her palm," Word must have got out quickly, she is here"

"Wait...you don't mean-" Shigure paled and Kira joined his mood as both drooped their heads.

Both were thinking the same thing.

"There goes our house"

It had taken Yuki a moment, but he was unable to ask since Kyo had gotten up and started to yell at Yuki, "Stop...stop playing!!" Shigure lifted his hand catching the chopsticks Kyo threw making it avoid from piercing into the Shōji door behind them," I said I won't eat leek and I mean I don't eat leek!!"

Yuki just stood before him apathetic, "If you want to complain, you can leave!"

"You don't even have to say it, I'll leave!"

"You two sound like a married couple bickering" Kira and Shigure both unknowingly voiced together.

The teen males turned to them offended," We don't need to hear that from you two!" The adults both turned blank and blinked at their words. They took a moment before turning to each other and silently questioning if that was true.

"Kyo!!" The door in front of them slammed opened, making the pair nearly jump.

"Ka...Kagura" Kyo stuttered

"Kyo...these four months...Where did you go...? Why didn't you...call me...?" Kagure brought a hand to her chin as tears fell down her face," I really..."

"I REALLY WANTED TO SEE YOU!!!" She shouted quickly punching him in the face, which caused him to fly back and Yuki moved out of the way coolly.

Kira hastily took her hand and pushed Shigure's head down as she followed pursuit. The female teen jumped over them and went to pursue Kyo who had been thrown out the yard, but not without ripping through the door.

"The paper sliding door has to be changed again, Kira, Shigure."

Kira sighed and facepalmed," Ah..."

"Why does everyone like to destroy other people's homes?" Shigure rubbed his temple.
