Chapter Thirty Five

A woman with short purple-greyish hair was on her knees just in front of Shigure and Kira's home. Her face was stained with tears as she screamed peering at a piece of paper taped on the front door.

"I've gone on vacation, so no need to try to find me" Signed on the bottom was Shigure's name.

"Mitsuru!! Come back first to talk it over!!" A voice screamed from a mobile phone on the floor. The woman's screams only gotten louder as the person on the phone raised their voice," Don't worry!! Shigure is only joking with you! Come back first Mitsuru! Don't do anything rash!"

"Shigure!!!!!" She screamed on the top of her lungs

Shigure who was sitting on a couch next to Kira had suddenly shivered.

"Wow...there's a lake! It's very beautiful and it's so big" Tohru, who was at the window with Hatori and Yuki said excitedly

Hatori peered out the window and hummed," So what if there's a lake? What's so fascinating?"

Tohru chuckled," It is, that's because it's the first time I've seen a real lake"

Kira who was glancing at them had suddenly jumped because of Shigure letting out a slow chuckle behind his paper fan.

"I wonder if Jason will swing by the villa"

"Even such a simple thing," Yuki said uninterested

Shigure turned to Kyo who was sitting alone on the other side of the room, with a puzzled expression, "Kyo, you are too innocent, Jason is a new type of bear"

"How would anyone know these kinds of things!?"

Hatori sighed placing a hand to his face," No...that's not-

"Oh!" Tohru turned with widened eyes," Are they bears bred abroad?" Hatori had given up walking over to a chair and sat.

"Why did you suddenly want to come here?" Kyo turned to Shigure with suspicion

"that was going to be my question, what plot do you have planned this time, Shigure?" Yuki asked also sharing the same feeling

Shigure frowned tapping his fan on his cheek," You guys are really misjudging my good intentions. I only wanted honest to come on vacation with you guys...I can't believe you guys are suspicious of me"

"Right, yes that is completely convincing," Kira said from her spot as she turned to him.

"Kira~ You are supposed to take my side" Shigure pouted making her huff at him.

"Me?" She pointed to herself," On your side? As if" She stated getting up from her seat and walking over to the window where Tohru was.

Shigure grumbled before opening his fan," Anyways if you guys talk about other people's problems, then might as well take Tohru for a walk around the lake! Yuki, Kyo!" There was suddenly a heavy silence that took over as Yuki and Kyo both turned away

"Huh? Come on you two, why are you looking away for?"

"Oh, it's okay I can go by myself" Tohru stepped forward

"Hmm...your moods are so down, you can definitely use the presence of an optimistic person" Shigure nodded before getting up and walking to the phone," That's right! We should call Ayame over!"

Yuki and Kyo were suddenly right behind him with dark aura's," if you call him over, I'm going to kill you"

Shigure turned pale and once they were sure he was not near the phone, the three teens had left together to walk down the lake.

However, the death threats towards him were not over, because Kira was now next to appear suddenly behind Shigure, making him almost fall out the window he was now near.

"Kira, why are you looking at me like that?" Shigure raised his hands in defence

"Now, tell me-Why did you drag me here as well?"

"Awh, come on, Kira~ I did not have any suspicious intentions!" Shigure cried as he pointed over her shoulders," I brought a bunch of books and snacks for you guys. I really just wanted you guys to relax"

Hatori who was on the chair blinked looking at the piles of western books. He stared at them and then it dawned to him, that while this trip was indeed thought out for Kira-it was also for him.

He then also remembered Ayame coming over the other day and while he was swamped with work, his friend had ended up brewing the exotic teas he had brought over.

How could he have forgotten-Kana was about to get married.

"Shigure" Hatori stood up walking over to the books

"Yes?"

"Hmm" Hatori smiled lifting a book," It's been a long time since I've been able to be like this...to be able to peacefully read a book and look, Kira, these are the snacks from abroad, the ones you been interested in"

"Hmm, are you interested in that?" Shigure asked over Kira's shoulder, as she read a foreign magazine that was all about calming one's mentality.

"Well, yeah, I heard it helps when you have trouble sleeping, they also have these interesting snacks and it's strangely intriguing" She then turned to Hatori, who was sitting at the deck sipping tea," Say, Hatori~"

"No" Hatori cut her off making her pout.

Kira took a moment before she dropped her hands that were crossed. She let out a breath, also realizing that Shigure did have good intentions.

She turned to him as he used his fan acting innocent. A soft "thanks" escaped her lips as she walked over to Hatori who held the snack towards her.
