Chapter Eighteen

Kira peered out of the restroom hearing a shriek and thud. She still had her toothbrush in her mouth and her hair was not even close to being primped as she made her way over.

"Honda, are you okay?" Yuki asked beating her to her own question.

"Yes...but Shigure's books..."

"I told you not to help this early in the morning," Kyo voiced blankly

"Kyo," Kira sighed walking over in view, not caring how she looked," She's doing it for you"

"Exactly" Yuki shook his head and glared at him," Because Shigure's den is now your room, so of course she'd help move the books"

"I didn't ask for your help, you know!" Kyo grumbled closing his eyes making Kira sigh and shake her head walking away. She heard the sound of distress and more thuds, that she instantly knew was Yuki since she saw him creepily lifting the books higher than Kyo.

"You stupid rat!!"

"Die. You're never going to change the way you are."

"You should change your weird habits!"

"Hey, you guys! If you have time to argue, you have to move the books!"

Kira finished getting ready for the day since they were currently going to have guest over. It was apparently, Tohru's best friends, who wanted to know where she was staying since they were looking out for their friend.

When Tohru came to them asking, she felt the boys turn to her, considering that she pulled most of the strings-when it came to things like this.

"That is fine, Tohru" Kira voiced from the opening of her and Shigure's room," They are important to you and it would only be right that we allow it"

"Ah! Thank you so much!"

"No problem! anything except that Twelve Zodiac's thing, you know" Shigure finished with a cheeky smile," So, what kind of friend does Tohru have?" He said suggestively making Kira shake her head and exit the room

"A Yankee and Electric Eel," Kyo said bluntly from the kitchen

"Look, look! I'm a lot faster than you at this!" Kyo shouted from Shigure and Kira's room.

Shigure frowned and lifted a scrap of paper on the floor, "Kyo, you tore off a bunch of the covers"

"Thank you, Tohru, you can put those there" Kira instructed the teen who had brought more of the books into the room. She was trying her best to fit the books and manuscripts as much as she could without taking more room than most of them were already doing.

Since their room was appropriately supposed to have just been a study and recreational room, it was fortunately spacious in many areas. Also, since the adults did not have beds, unlike Yuki and Tohru, there was no worry about it taking space.

Kyo had been the only other that still used a futon because he said that he preferred the futon over it. However, Kira had known, from his emotions that it was a distant remark about his thoughts of the future-that led to his possible confinement if he did not beat Yuki in time.

The doorbell rang, making Tohru shoot up from the floor," Oh, they're here!"

"Hmm, well," Kira stretched her neck and turned to the males when Tohru was out of hearing range," If anything happens, try to improvise as much as you can. I don't want things leading to having us relying on Hatori, got it?" She said firmly peering at each of them," I mean it, having one person knowing is already enough, so be careful"
