Chapter Nine

Kira had ceremoniously opened the door to the room her sister currently was in and walked in with light steps.

Shigure had offered to go in, but she brushed him off saying that she was capable of handling herself.

She specifically ordered him to not enter the room and while he was against the idea, wanting to see Akito-she sternly commanded him and Hatori who was walking down the hall to stay outside no matter what.

She had been notified by Naruse that Kureno was currently out, so she did not have to worry about being in the room alone with her sister.

"Hello my dear sister," Kira outspokenly said with coolness as she got her sister who was leaning against an open window to turn brusquely at the voice.

Akito's eyes widened as she kept herself still in place, not sure if she was hallucinating or if it was truly her sister before her.

"I expected a welcome home or at least some kind of reaction, it has been a few years since we've last seen each other and all" Kira shook her head and she stepped to the side seeing a small vase being thrown her way.

The sound of shattering porcelain had the males outside jump, however, as orders, they did not come in-even if they wanted to.

Akito had painfully held her chest, feeling the discomfort of nearly harming her sister. However, she still had great anger within of seeing her sister who left her years ago.

Kira walked over with no fear in being harmed, knowing that if Akito did harm her-she'd also suffer the same exact pain.

She knelt down before her twin and reached over placing a hand under her chin, making her face her direction.

"We have a lot of things to discuss, however, for now, we will settle for it later"

"Liar" Akito spat moving her head away and turning herself away.

"I do not lie when not needed, Akito," Kira said firmly as she untangled her legs to sit comfortably," You know this, sister, you can feel it just as I can feel your emotions"

"I rather we didn't"

"You don't mean that" Kira lifted half of her lip into a smirk," Anyways, we have a disturbance in our mist and I would love if you put aside your abhorrence for a bit."

The word 'disturbance' had Akito attentive with distress.

"What kind of disturbance?" The elder half questioned

Kira went on carefully explaining everything that had happened to her twin without missing a single detail.

When it came to explaining the story of Tohru's life-neither of the twins could understand or have empathy for it, considering how twisted their own parental half of their lives was nowhere near normal.

Their father was a kind and gentle person, however, with his reality of being easily manipulated by their mother and the elders-his kindness was not enough to structure them with the strength to bear their roles as a god.

In fact, the twins were only weakened and left without answers to their power. They had not understood his dying words of being 'special'. They only thought about how it was as 'god' not the words of what he truly meant, that they were destined to be loved.

However, those words did not go across them and they both fell into the weakness of only hurting each other with the betrayal of their illicit affairs with Shigure and Kureno.

They knew of the love they had for them -- but it was not one they comprehended as not forced. To them, all they felt as if any emotions that the Zodiac's have for them is just admissions their God. So as long as they were strong and God they had nothing to fear.

"This will be a virtuous chance for us, sister, we should trust this Tohru, " Akito said with a sly smile placing a hand on Kira's own

"I agree, sister" Kira leered back with the mirrored smirk of her twin turning her hand over Akito's to own.

They both shared one final look before nodding at the understanding and choice they made.

Kira dismissed herself and walked out of the room, making Hatori and Shigure both walk over to her for answers. However, Kira spurned Hatori, to return to his duties, making him sigh knowing she did not want him to hear whatever she was going to tell Shigure.

Once she saw him no longer in view, she turned to Shigure, "Akito and I have decided, this will be a good opportunity for Yuki, Kyo and us" She explained with empty eyes that did not go unnoticed by him

"However," Kira said dangerously as she placed her finger under his chin," Yuki is very sharp, be careful"
