Unfortunately, Hatsuharu and Yuki were not able to hear about the accident, because Kyo was seen leaving through the other exit. It meant that Yuki had to go and by Akito's side, whereas, it was also time for Hatsuharu to return to the other house.

Shigure carried Kira in his arms, as they went to place her into her room. Hatori walked ahead," I'm surprised you told them it was your fault"

"I didn't see the reason to lie to them" Shigure responded

"You do realize that Akito might not be happy about them knowing, right?"

Shigure laughed mildly," You must be mistaken, Hatori, if anything Akito would be so happy that I said it was my fault, though even so, what she doesn't know won't hurt her"

"You've planted the curiosity within those two, what will happen if they question Akito?"

"If it comes down to it, Akito won't really have a choice. Those two are her favourites and denying them the truth is something she won't do. Since Akito also had a part of this, she'll be guilt-ridden from hiding something like this"

Hatori sighed," So this is part of your plan,"

"In a way, yes, I did plan on telling them eventually and the time was perfect. They now know and it will also give another thing for Akito to stress over"

"Your methods will come back to get you, Shigure"

"Maybe so, but as I said, I will do everything to break the curse, even if it ends up with having everyone hate me. In the end, all that matters is getting what I want"

"And what if she ends up hating you as well?"

"If it happens, I still won't give up"

Shigure had ended up not being able to leave since Kira had a firm hold him. So, he ended up staying over the night, which ended up not being the greatest start in the morning when Akito walked into the room seeing Shigure.

Akito had threatened to scream, but stopped seeing Shigure's smirk," It would seem that the battle was not on your side, after all, Akito"

Akito's eyes narrowed looking down to her twin, who was in a deep sleep. As much as Akito wanted to tear her away from him, she had her mind set on other things.

"We'll just have to wait and see, Akito" Akito hit her hand on the wall before leaving the room. It only caused Shigure to laugh lightly and run his hands through Kira's hair. Things are not going to get any easier and he was prepared for it.

Kira who was in a deep slumber had opened her eyes seeing herself in the same darkness before. She took a moment before letting out a breath and seeing her younger self looking up.

"Did you rest enough?" The young Kira asked, before turning to face her

"I have to wake up-Akito is going to do something rash"

The young Kira smiled and walked over to her, "Okay, I had fun playing, but I think it's time we stop hiding. It's time for us to start doing what is right and it's time for you to open your eyes and start searching for the memories you lost because, without it, you'll be stuck in the same position of not doing anything"

"Even if I have to go against...Akito?"

"It's not about going against her; it's about guiding her from falling further into darkness. You are her other half after all and the only way to save yourself is to save her, first"

Kira sat up abruptly, making Shigure and Hatori-who had come in to check on them.

"Kira?" Hatori rushed over, but Kira jumped out of the bed and pushed passed them.

Upon running out, she let out a breath seeing Momiji running through the heavy rain, she ran straight for him and held his arms. Shigure and Hatori were just right behind, confused but also concerned.

"Where is he? Momiji? Where is Akito?!"

"He-He's at the other house, he's found Tohru," Momiji said through uneven breathes and tears," I tried to stop him, but- Kira let him go and ran past him, ignoring the calls of Shigure and Hatori.
