Chapter Eighty Four

"What did you need that for?" Akito asked through the phone since it was currently night time and visiting hours were over.

"Hmm, it's something special that'll hopefully get through...You and Kureno already did your part right?"

Akito scoffed playfully," Who do you think we are? Of course, we did, in fact, I bet we did better than you could ever imagine"

"Please tell me you didn't be too harsh," Kira tilted her head chuckling

"I did what I thought was enough, it's up to how-" Akito stopping talking because there was suddenly someone calling for her," Hey, I have to go, it seems like Kureno accidentally broke something...goodness you'd think I was careless"

"You have my best regards, please don't burn down the house"

"I am not even touching the kitchen, dummy" Akito grumbled before saying goodbye.

Kira shook her head lowering the phone and laying back on the hospital bed. She took a moment before closing her eyes knowing she'd need all the energy for what she had planned for tomorrow.

Although, time seemed quick as she slept because the moment, she closed her eyes, she felt as if she didn't even sleep hearing the alarm on the phone she had set. She groggily turned to shut it off before getting out of the bed and preparing for her pre-arranged day.

She chose the day specifically because Hatori was not coming in to check up on her until late evening because he had worked late the previous night. She knew with the last time she slipped out; he kept a watchful eye on her. However, since she was normally not up until the afternoon, he let his guard down for the day.

Kira grabbed the small paper bag and rushed out of the hospital. She had yet again, slipped past any of the staff and made her way out to the courtyard. She hid behind a tree and waiting a few minutes and saw Tohru doing her part.

She waited patiently as she watched Shigure walk down the path confused, but not questioning anything. He just walked to the direction Tohru had pointed.

Kira slowly walked a few feet behind him before properly discarding the paper bag in the nearest bin. In her hand was a camellia flower-the same flower that Shigure had given to her when he confessed his love for her.

Kira stopped in her tracks and let out a breath," You once told me, I think of you more than anyone else. That is a definite truth..." Shigure turned around hurriedly and saw Kira standing there with the flower in her hand," I realized I never said something sincere back, but I want you to know that the world had become brighter the moment I laid eyes on you. You had become the sun in my darkness when I felt alone. You stood by me all these years just like you promised you would, even if I tended to be harsh sometimes," She said as tears ran down her face," I love yo-

Kira did not even finish her words, because Shigure ran over to her crashing his lips onto her on. At first, she did not respond, but the warmth of his lips took her into a daze and she reciprocated it.

She let it last for a few seconds before pulling back," Wait I didn't fini- She was cut off again by Shigure reconnecting their lips, but she kept fighting to speak," Shi-" and again," Hey, seriously-"

He wouldn't let her speak because he wanted to shield the tears spilling down his face as well with making sure this was not a dream.

"I love you," Shigure pulled back leaning his forehead on her own," I love you so much, Kira"

He kissed her quickly again before placing his hands on her cheek," I swear, I though i'd never be able to say it because no one would tell me anything. I asked Hatori, but he just kept telling me he'll update me when things change and then, Kureno and Akito suddenly come to the house and tell me to come here because the doctors needed me to discuss something?! Do you have any idea how that made me panic? Then when I came to speak with a nurse to look for the doctor, Tohru was suddenly rushing to me and dragged me out to the courtyard-

Kira stopped him from speaking, hearing the sheer panic in his tone, by placed a soft kiss to his lips," Breathe Shigure, breathe before you end up in the hospital. If i had known you get this frantic I would have just went with something simple"

"You...rose the panic..." Shigure frowned looking down to her," You nearly stopped my heart"

"I'm sorry, listen I thought this was a great idea and you ruined it. I was trying to be all soppy, but you managed to steal my spotlight" Shigure chuckled leaning forward and placed his lips back onto her own, but before they could even get into the moment-Shigure winced as something hard was thrown to the back of his head.

The both peered down seeing a book on the floor.

"You idiotic, have no damn shame for your surroundings, moronic couple" Hatori's voice brought them to look around, for the clinician. They soon found him on the second floor," I was wondering why all the nurses were squealing when I came to the hospital. None of them was able to even speak with whatever they were squealing over,"

"Hatori~ that hurt, I thought you were a doctor, you are supposed to help heal, not causing harm to others"

Hatori stared at Shigure before sighing," Well, I think I've decided to take up on another career and it's ridding the world of idiots like you. Anyways, you two have one minute to get up here or else I will authorize a ban on your visitation rights" He removed himself from the window and the pair both shared a look.

"That is the most I think Hatori's ever spoken in his entire life," Kira commented, however before she or Shigure could laugh, they were suddenly thrown two paper balls. They turned up to Hatori tapping on his watch.

"50 seconds, 49, 48-"

Shigure grabbed Kira and lifted her in his arms and ran, making Hatori sigh and placing a hand on his face.

"Idiots"
