"You think she'll turn up?"

Sam spoke delicately as he sat running his finger across the lid of he's freshly made Cuban coffee as he watched on at Lauren furiously writing upon a heavily embossed document

"Wouldn't be surprised if she didn't"

She spoke with an unreadable tone, Sam had woken to the girl still curled up in a tight ball dead asleep with newly dried tears fixed upon her cheeks, he'd for sure had a break through with the girl but Lauren's undeniably closed off and harshly protective nature was still a force to be reckoned with, put it this way, a child who has been bitten by a dog is highly unlikely ever to reach out to one ever again, this wasn't going to be an easy venture but time was wearing thin and if Sam wanted to help the girl he needed to think FAST

"Lauren, come on! You need to fix this TODAY!"

He spoke sternly placing his coffee down onto the floor before uncrossing his legs snapping his fingers to pull her attention

"I don't have to do shit Papi!"

Lauren replied as she placed her pen down standing to file the document away into the large cabinet beside her, Sam stood walking behind the girl to swing her around by her shoulders, her gaze landing on him with a vacant expression

"That girl went home alone last night, crying because of something YOU did!"

He began pointing his finger into her chest watching the lights in her eyes dimly turn on taking in what he was saying as a slight drop in her stomach issued a feeling of hidden guilt

"Regardless as you weather you're gonna grow some balls and say what you really feel you still need to apologise Lauren!"

Lauren shot her eyes to the side avoiding his very true words as she shook his hands from her shoulders walking back over to her desk slamming herself back into her chair to run her fingertips through the thick locks of hair that flow over her shoulders and down towards the top of her hips

Sam rolled his eyes before looking out into the hall noticing the younger girl pacing down the long stretch of marble floor, her demeanour being followed by many sitting eyes, it was no shock however as the girl was a specimen to behold, one gaze however was almost unsettling as it smirked following the girls movements right up to the edge of Lauren's office, Sam quickly shook it off however as he began walking towards the door figuring the girls would need some time alone

"Grow some Jauregui!"

He shot before swiftly making an exit replaced almost immediately by Camila's body walking over to the corner of the office, her eye line fixed to the direction in which she was walking shockingly not even shifting the elder a glance

Lauren twirled her pen over her knuckles before taking a deep breath

"I didn't think you'd show up..."

Camila raised her brows into the floor as she sift through a wad of paper, as Lauren watched on subtly she felt almost intimidated by Camila's ability to completely ignore her, she was so used to having the upper hand that she was almost taken a back by the sudden switch in roles

"Well...."

Camila stood and huffed heavily as she finally looked over at Lauren, it wasn't a normal look however, it was almost a death glare that shot directly through into her soul stopping her breath in her chest as she opened her mouth

"It's my little sisters birthday on Saturday, she wants a princess dress that I can't afford, that's the only reason I'm here.. don't get it twisted!"
