"Mija you ready to go?"

Sinu asked in a sweet soft voice as she approached Camila's desk stroking her hand lightly over her covered back, Camila nod standing to her feet as she rummage through her bag noticing her mom looking over into Lauren's office, the girls head was buried in her hand as she wrote furiously upon a document

"Is Lauren not wanting to come eat with us?"

Camila shook her head lightly creasing her mouth as she herself looked over feeling bad she couldn't help the girls stressful day, Lauren had been tasked to fix some of the quarters errors and given the mass amounts of money involved Camila didn't have the authority nor knowledge to start tampering with them

"No mama she's having a super bad day.. I think she just needs to be left alone"

The girl spoke honestly with a half smile before Sinu place her bag down onto the table rolling up her sleeves towards her elbows as if ready to pounce, her small legs began walking over towards the heavy glass doors before Camila called out to stop her

"Mom seriously ... she's not feeling it today..."

"Nonsense mija! Wait for me downstairs and I will be there"

Camila rolled her eyes as she watched her mother confidently approach the office, she grabbed for their bags and continued as directed heading towards the elevator, Sinu unashamedly opened the glass doors in front wide enough to catch Lauren's attention, her hand quickly fell from her head as she placed her pen down beside her

Lauren's POV

"Sinu? Hi? How are you?"

I spoke out as the small woman crashed confidently through my doors with a face I couldn't really put my finger on, I felt like she was gonna yell at me but? Also hug me? Whatever I'm not sure but either way what was she doing here?

"I'm am well baby how are you?"

Fucking brilliant... 25 million dollars gone missing but no biggie.. how the hell are you!?

"I'm ok.."

aaaaand that's how my brain worked... I could already tell by the expression plastered across her face she wasn't going to take that bullshit answer as a given as she fold her arms neatly across her chest walking around to my side of the desk perching lightly in front of my chair, we'd only met each other a handful of times by now but if you know anything about Spanish mothers it's that they're forward

"I have been a mother to two girls now... I know a lie when I see it"

Mhmm, truth be told I was in the worlds biggest shit storm of a mood and just wanted to be left alone to fix the water these assholes were trying to drown me in, more often than not their brain cells actually tried to communicate with each other but it seemed today they'd all booked holidays off and out of the country leaving just their stupid empty heads sending out figures

"Just a rough day, I'm sorry"

I admit as her gaze softened, I tilt my head down into the arm of my chair before the soft touch of her finger tips snatched my chin back up into her eyes, she wasn't leaving me alone any time soon as she examine my facial expression for what felt like 5 minutes before using her fingers to tuck a piece of hair back behind my ear
