Chapter 18

Lauren reach out her arms before having a small bundle of blankets placed against her chest, immediately her eyes began to fill as she look down on the tiny little human bellow her flailing It's arms under the tight wrapped cloth

"Oh my god... Camz look what you made..."

She spoke not really able to find the words to really describe how much love she had felt in that moment, the tiny lips and button nose so soft and fragile her heart ached, she lift her finger up to trace the line of the small brows smiling widely as a small whimper fell

After a moment the 4 waiting outside came rushing in after being given the sweet news instantly pausing as they witnessed a very exhausted Camila laying beside a crying Lauren holding on tightly to their newest family edition

"My god! I can't believe it!"

Sinu gasp holding her palms to her cheeks as she quickly approach the girls leaning down to kiss her daughters forehead before turning to look down on the small bundle of baby

"So..."

Sam spoke in a questioning tone as he flew behind Lauren's back reaching the back of his index finger out to caress the warm chubby cheeks below

"It's a girl...."

She spoke with a smile cradling her tiny head as mike and Zach approach from the side gently looking over as they congratulate the pair accordingly

"She's so beautiful... Lauren she looks just like you.. those lips..."

Mike gasp as he kneel down to gaze lovingly at his first grandchild, she was tinier than any of them could have expected as she was after all very early however she was healthy.. perfectly healthy in fact with a strong set lungs that in a few weeks may not seem as cute as they do right now

"She really does look like her mommy! Camila you're incredible!"

Sam usher grabbing for the girls sweaty hands before Zach turn to ask the very question everyone seemed to be pondering

"So what's her name?"

Lauren and Camila glance at each other with a smile before looking back down at the bundle

"She's called Luna... Luna rose"

"That's so beautiful guys seriously... little Luna.."

The 4 stare on for a moment just taking in the bright light of life they had all been anxiously awaiting over the past months... suddenly all of the arguments and angst seemed so distant.. Lauren's fears had evaporated.. all of the pain and anxieties no longer important as they take in the small breath of fresh air soundly sleeping within her mommies arms

"Sinu you wanna hold?"

Lauren asked gently as the woman nod back hastily reaching her arms out to swap places with her daughter in law crying immediately as the warm body rest into her embrace wiggling gently at the change of touch

Lauren instantly stood to lean over her wife scraping back her sweaty hair before placing a soothing kiss onto her forehead smiling back as she acknowledged her delicate features

"I'm so proud of you Camz... you did amazing, and I'm sorry for yesterday... I should never have put you through that.."

"It's ok! I don't care about any of that stuff anymore... we have a baby now.. our baby.. she's here!"

She spoke back happily with a swarm of content as Lauren's emerald orbs comfort her still aching body, it was a world unknown to them but with their newly built support system there was no doubt things were going to be just fine
