Chapter 23

Sam rub his sleepy eyes as he walk across the long stretch of hall and into Lauren's room noticing mike propped up against the side of the bed asleep with his arm laying gently over Lauren's wrist, he walked quietly towards the body and lightly shook him awake

"Mike go ahead to bed, I got it"

Sam spoke as the man opened his eyes squinting at the bright beam of morning light that shone through into the room before stumbling to his feet to leave, Sam proceed to jump up into the middle of the bed tucking himself under the covers between his two still sleeping best friends, Lauren's body subconsciously felt the warm familiar skin sink down into the mattress causing her to turn around placing her head down onto the mans chest her raven black hair falling messily behind her as the man wrap his arm around her warm body

"Sam?"

A small voice echoed from beside him as he turn his head over to the younger, her eyes open only slightly as she accepted his other arm leaning in to lay across his shoulder

"Good sleep mama?"

He spoke softly as he ran his fingertips through the back of the thick brown hair draped over his arm, Camila nod timidly wiping at her tired eyes before reaching over to Lauren using her hand to cup her warm blush cheek

"Is she ok?"

Sam tilt his head down to the elder smiling lightly rubbing his palm across her hip before resting his head back onto the headboard

"She's all good, slept like a brick...can't say I blame her"

Sam replied content as the three lay there peacefully for what felt like hours just enjoying the peace before Lauren's body began to move, her forehead crinkling as she began to wake rubbing at her eyes with a series of raspy groans and grumbles before opening up her emerald orbs into Camila's eyes

"Morning sleepy"

Camila spoke as she quietly giggled happy that the girl was finally conscious and aware of her surroundings

"Morning baby... What the fuck happened last night?"

Sam cleared his throat before gripping tightly to Camila's side indicating that he'd break the news

"You were spiked last night mama...we found you sitting against the wall outside out of it.. we had to call 911.."

Lauren quickly sat bolt up right in both shock and fear before groaning at the harsh slamming in the front of her surprisingly hungover head

"Lay back down dummy.... you probably have a hangover from hell right now!"

Sam spoke as he grabbed for her shoulder pulling her back crashing comfortably into his body as she began to speak

"What the fuck...I got spiked? Who by? I didn't even drink that much?"

Sam shrug his shoulders not knowing the answer, none of them did but under her breath Camila seemed to have some kind of idea as she recall Clara's surprise but short appearance behind Lauren only a few moments before she took those fatal sips

"God only knows.. it's a good job because if you'd have drank anymore you'd probably be having your stomach pumped right now.."

Sam joked trying to lift the mood successfully as the pair of girls across his chest giggled lightly, Lauren look up again into her wife's eyes before grabbing her chin softly reaching forward to place a kiss onto her lips

"Ok ok ok....too early for lesbian stuff!"

Sam joked as he playfully prized their heads apart, eliciting a joint eye roll as Lauren checked over at the time noticing that it was already noon
