Suspicious Situation
At 1:18 a.m., Jan. 18, officers responded to a call from a 19-year-old female student parked in J-Lot. The student said two non-students in a dark van had followed her back from her off-campus job. She said the van drove away when the police arrived. The incident is still under investigation.
Substances
At 6:37 p.m., Jan. 20, officers were called to the recreation center regarding a plastic bag found in a locker room. The officers determined the substance in the bag was cocaine. The bag was confiscated. The incident is still under investigation.
Vandalism
At 2:07 p.m., Jan. 17, an officer responded to a report of vandalism in the Bay Edge apartment complex. The students who made the call discovered racial slurs painted on their door upon returning from class. They advised the officers it was an angry neighbor. The situation was turned over to Student Conduct for review.
