My imagination ran wild as I packed up my room.
All the things that could transpire over the summer. The next semester. The next few years.
Was Cole the one?
I didn't know.
But that was okay.
He was the one for now. One to laugh with, one to share stories with, one to cry with. That was enough.
Everything else would fall into place when it was ready.
My phone buzzed, and I set down the box I was about to take downstairs.
