Hello, Dr. Meyers,
I hope you are well. Thank you for reaching out in regards to our recent post. I understand your concern, but ultimately our job as a university newspaper is to inform students. Being that much of the campus population knew Dax and shares in his loss, we find it imperative that we meet their need for an explanation of the situation. Dax's friends and classmates deserve to know what happened to him.
Thank you again, but we will be continuing our coverage of the situation as it unfolds.
