You are the on that i've been searching for my whole life through.
You are the one that i've been looking for and now that I found you,
I'll never let you go, i'll hold you in my arms.

"You did well, iha."

Tita Emi traced my arms while giving me a warm smile.

It looks like the formal dinner is happening tonight.

"Thank you, Tita. I just wanted to clear the issue before it affects both of our families." I truthfully answered.

"I'm really thankful that you are giving my son a chance, iha. You know how much I like you for him and I saw how he was helplessly in love with you for years." Mahina siyang tumawa. "He really wanted to marry you, I can attest to that."

Yes, I can feel his sincerity but to actually hear it from his mother is something. I know i'll be in good hands.

"I really wanted to marry him so bad too, Tita." Buong puso kong sagot. I hope she can see how sincere I am.

"It's Mama now, iha." She corrected me.

I nodded and shyly smiled. "Okay Tita err- I mean, Mama."

She smiled in satisfaction and gestured me to come with her back to the dining area.

Of course my grandparents are the happiest since they really liked Eros for me eversince and my Dad is cool about it, obviously.

Tita Emi and Tito Gerry congratulated us both and didn't miss any chance to say how happy they are for us while my mom looks civil. I can see it.

"So it's December 15 this year?" Lola Dencia asked again to confirm.

I nodded. "Yes, Lola. I really wanted to get married by December."

Ngayon ay kay Eros niya ibinaling ang tingin, obviously waiting for what my fiance has to say.

"I'm fine with what she wants, Lola. As long as i'm marrying her."

Tita Emi clapped in delight. Maging sina Daddy ay naroon iyong kuntentong ngiti.

"Now I can say that my daughter is in good hands. Treat her right, son. I almost cried when Mommy said that.

This is it. It's getting real.

"What are your plans after marriage?" My grandfather asked us.
