"Congratulations, Ateneo College of Law." The host announced.
Everyone congratulated me. I just won in a debate competition nationwide. I want to cry because I really worked hard for this. All those sleepless nights, tears and nose bleeds were worth it.
I saw a familiar face approaching me.
"Congrats, Ms. Tanya. You did great!" He said while smiling. I smiled back and forced myself to remember where I met him.
He's tall and he really looks handsome like some Greek god. I forgot where I met him but he is really familiar. He has a big daddy energy, which is really funny. I would probably hit on him if it wasn't because of Greyson, he's my type.
"Thank you! I'm sorry but, you are really familiar. Where did we meet?" I asked politely.
"Ouch, you forgot about me?" Biro niya pa at bahagyang tumawa. Natawa rin ako nang bahagya.
"Sorry na, marami kasi akong iniisip." Sagot ko at nahihiyang ngumiti.
"It's okay, by the way I'm Hades Wilson." Sambit niya na ikinalaki ng mata ko.
"Oh my god! You're my favorite greek god!" I exclaimed.
Finally, I already met someone whose name is Hades. Maybe, I'm less obsessed with Greek mythology unlike my mother who married a man who has a similar name.
"You told me the same thing when we met." He said while chuckling.
Pilit kong inaalala kung saan ko nga ba siya nakita. Nanlaki ang mata ko nang maalala.
"Ikaw yung nasa bus! Oh my god, Hades the daddy!" Walang hiyang sambit ko at narinig ko lang siyang tumawa.
"Yep, I guess, that's me." Natatawang sambit niya.
"Hala, bakit ka nandito?" Tanong ko pa dahil nasa Davao kami at nakakapagtaka na magkikita kami dito.
"Maybe to support you." Pabirong sambit niya.
"Ay wow, pa-fall." Pabirong sambit ko at hinampas siya sa matigas niyang biceps. "Ano nga, 'to naman." Sambit ko pa.
"I study here in Ateneo de Davao." Sagot niya.
"Law student ka rin? Pero sa Manila kita nakita ah?" Patanong na sambit ko.
"Yup, first year law student. I somewhat work in Manila before proceeding to Law school." Sagot niya.
Tumango kami at nag usap pa rin nang biglang may tumawag sa phone ko at nagpaalam na ako kay Hades para sagutin ang tumatawag.
