Chapter Twenty-Eight

"What are you gonna wear for Halloween?" I shake my head walking towards my locker. Another Monday. Blehh. Another day in this hell, school. The only thing that got me out of bed today was the script.

"I'm not the dressing up type Niall" his once smile turns into a frown.

"But why?" He asks.

"I don't know its not really my thing plus isn't Halloween in like 2 weeks?" I grab my English book and notebook.

"Whatcha guys talking about?" Zayn's voice scares the living shizz out of me. "Sorry didn't mean to scare you" he puts a hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine just startled me" I wave him off.

"We were talking about how much Jess here is no fun she doesn't want to dress up for Halloween" Niall rolls his eyes at the end.

"Who doesn't want to dress up for Halloween?"

I jump again by the voice that's coming from behind me. What is it scare Jesse day today? I put a hand over my heart trying to slow down the thumping.

"Sorry about that" Louis says with a smile that I almost think he did it on purpose. I reply with a "uhuh" before turning away.

"Jess doesn't want to dress up" I turn around quickly to make sure no one's coming to scare me again. It's clear.

"Aww why Jess?" Louis ask.

"Just not really my thing I like staying home and watching scary movies" I shrug my shoulders. All their stares making me feel small.

"Well not this year I'm throwing a party and I would love if you could come it'll be really fun" I shake my head.

"I don-"

"We're coming" I almost choke on my saliva getting scared yet again. What the fudge? I look over at Harry who has a smirk spread across his face. Stupid.

"I'm being serious Jess it'll be worth it" Louis winks at me and I roll my eyes.

"So now you have to dress up" Niall speaks up.

"Yes Niall I guess I do. What are you going to dress up as?" I ask Niall wanting to get a bit of pressure off of me.

"Well I was thinking I could be batman it'll be really cool"

"Nope sorry bud I'm batman" Liam comes out of no where.

"Well then I could be the Jok-"

"Better luck next time mate I'm the Joker" Zayn cuts him off. I bit down on my lip to stop from giggling.

"Well shit guys thanks" he throws his hands in the air. Pretty sure he's thinking of better costumes.

"Well we'll see you guys later" Harry waves his hands at the guys, who's faces all look confused hell my face is confused to he's kicking them out.

The bell goes off starting class.

"Uhh I guess see you during break Jess" I nod my head in their direction, smiling. The boys all walk away together with Niall still talking about costumes.

"So Jess I was thinking?" I turn towards Harry. He's fiddling with his fingers. I think he's nervous but about what? "I was thinking that maybe you would like to go out with me on Friday?"

"Um at what time? I have to work on the script after school" I shut my locker closed and start heading towards first. Harry follows right besides me.

"Well I'll pick you up after you're done I need time to set it up anyways" he smiles at me.

"Okay well are the guys gonna go?" I ask. We reach class and I take a seat at my normal desk with Harry right beside me.
