"What is it?" I asked turning to Timothée.

He'd been staring at me all day.

"Oh, it's nothing." he said looking away.

"Come on, tell me." I said moving closer to him.

"It's your lips."

"What about them?"

"They look really good."

I gave him a kiss.

"They feel really good too." he smiled "umm..what's that thing you have on? like why are they shiny?"

"It's lip gloss."

"That's the name! I couldn't remember."

"Want to try some?" I asked.

He hesitated a little.

"I'm going to get it anyway." I said getting up from the couch.

I went up to our room and grabbed my makeup bag filled with glosses, then ran back down to the living room.

"Here we gooo!" I said opening the bag.

"How many do you have? Oh my God."

"A lot."

He looked into the bag. There were clear ones, pink ones, red ones, glittery ones. So many kinds of shades and types.

"Can I try.." he moved his fingers inside of the bag "this one." he said pulling one out.

I grabbed it and looked at it. "I like this one."

It was a regular gloss with a pink tint.

"Open your mouth a little." I said unscrewing the top.

I put some on his bottom lip, sweeping the applicator side to side; then put some on his top lip too.

"Rub them together."

"Can I see?" he asked.

I nodded and grabbed the little compact mirror in the bag. He grabbed it and opened it up.

"Oh my gosh," he laughed "I like it."

"You look really good." I smiled and rested my chin in my palm.

"I should wear it more often."

"You should."

"Fuck toxic masculinity." he said tossing the mirror aside.

"Yeah! fuck toxic masculinity." I said giving him a high five.

"Can we paint our nails next?" he asked scratching his head.

"Is that even a question?! Come on, I have a whole collection up upstairs."

A/N: fuck toxic masculinity tbh. Let men have feelings & let them express themselves in whatever way, shape, or form they want to without having to feel belittled or ashamed! Look at him 🥰
