"I'll take it." I said after taking a final look around.

"Great," my realtor said "let me get the paperwork."

I stood in the living room and waited for him to come back.

"Just sign here," he pointed "initial there."

I proceeded to sign, initial, and read the lease all the way through until the last page.

"It's all yours." he said, reaching out his hand.

"Thank you so much." I said shaking it.

"I'll run it through tomorrow, and you can move in Monday."

"Sounds good." I said as he gave me the keys and left after.

I walked out of the living room and over to my bedroom, trying to picture in what ways I could move my bed and the rest of my furniture.

I stepped into the kitchen afterwards and wondered what color I would paint the walls and if I should change the backsplash too.

After struggling to imagine what I wanted my new home to look like, I called my parents and let them know that I got the apartment.

They congratulated me and told me they'd like to take me out for "celebratory" lunch.

I closed my door and took a quick side glance of the girl standing next to me.

She was about my age, long (y/h/c) hair, very cute.

"I take it that you're going to be my new neighbor." she said locking her door.

I froze for a second and cleared my throat.

"Yeah."

I locked my door and turned to her as she was tossing her own keys into her purse.

"I'm y/n." she smiled and brought out her hand.

"Timothée." I said shaking it.

"Decided what you're going to do with your new place yet?

"Not yet," I shook my head "I'm not sure where to start."

She smiled. "Well," she began "I like to consider myself a professional interior designer."

I laughed. "Is that so?"

"Mhm. If you ever need help decorating, you know where to find me." she winked.

That wink could kill. I could already feel myself getting nervous and red in the face.

"Thanks." was all I could say.

"Anytime." she smiled again and walked away.
