timothée's pov

I groaned at the pain I felt all over my body. I could tell the room I was in was bright even though my eyes weren't open.

There was a knock on the door, I opened my heavy eyes and saw a nurse walk in.

What am I doing in a hospital room?

"Mr.Chalamet! You're awake," she smiled "how are you feeling?" she asked.

"I'm in pain." I managed to say.

"That's normal, especially after the kind of accident you had."

She put on some gloves and came over to me, moving my arms and legs around. She unwrapped my bandages, studied the wounds and scratches, then put on new bandages.

"What happened to me?" I asked.

I had no recollection of the day or night before.

"Well, you got into an accident at a large intersection. You were completely stuck in your car, the firefighters had to cut you out."

I still couldn't remember a single thing about what she was saying happened.

"You're very lucky to have just these injuries," she took off her gloves and threw them away "not many very people are."

She started walking out of the room before I called her back.

"Wait!" I yelled.

Anxiety came over me. "Wh-where's my wife?"

How could I have forgotten about y/n?

"She just left your room about an hour ago, I'll go see if I can get her back here."

"Thank you."

She nodded and left the room.

I pulled my hair in frustration. The first thing I really asked was what happened to me and not where my wife was when she wasn't beside me or in the room. Where my other half was.

A few minutes passed.

"Guess who I found." the nurse said standing in the doorway.

"Y/n!" I shouted.

"Hi love." she said and came over to me, giving me a kiss.

The nurse left the room and closed the door.

Y/n sat down on the bed and smiled.

"Where were you?" I asked holding one of her hands.

"Just getting you some breakfast." she reached into the brown bag in her other hand.

She pulled out a bacon egg and cheese bagel.

I smiled wide, of course she'd go out of the way to get me outside food and not some from the cafeteria.

"Thank you." I said grabbing it from her and put it on the table next to me.

I pulled her on top of me, groaning in pain.

"Timmy," she started trying to get off of me, "I don't want to hurt you."

"It's fine," I said hugging her tightly "I'm okay."

"I'm so glad you are." she said.
