I woke up to the empty bed, but heard voices coming from the kitchen. And lots of moving around.

Timothée was down there with the kids.

I got out of bed and brushed my teeth, then went downstairs.

They were starting breakfast.

"Good morning!" I said walking to the table.

Timothée was cooking as the kids sat on the kitchen stools.

"Good morning mommy." our 7 year old son said. I went over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning princess." I said to my daughter, who's 5, also giving her a kiss on the cheek.

She gave me a smile, her two front teeth were missing and it made me giggle.

"And what about me?" Timothée asked flipping a pancake.

I rolled my eyes goofily and walked over to him, snaking my arms around his waist as I got on my tip toes to give him a long kiss.

The kids both covered their eyes as they begged for us to stop.

Timothée pulled away from our kiss and looked at them.

"What? Your mommy can't kiss me?"

They shook their heads.

"Take this you two." he said.

Careful not to burn the food in the making, he turned off the stove before grabbing me by the waist and dipping me.

He practically slobbering me with a kiss.

"EWW!" the kids yelled at the same time.

I couldn't help but laugh as he continued kissing me all over my face, not even trying to touch my lips at this point.

He lifted me back up and looked at the kids with his hands on his hips as I cleaned myself of the wet kiss.

"How about that?"

"So gross!" our son said.

"I thought it was pretty good." I winked at Timothée.
